WELCOME BACK, JACKSON HOOPER!

The Bridgewater Football Club is thrilled to welcome back one of the most decorated players in our club’s history — Jackson Hooper.

Jackson is a 6 -time Bridgewater Best & Fairest winner and a Mail Medal winner in Division 1 football, having also claimed the prestigious Mail Medal during his Under-18 career.

Over the past few years, Jackson has taken the opportunity to develop his coaching craft with the Hahndorf Football Club, gaining valuable experience that he now brings back to the Raiders.

We are incredibly excited to welcome Jackson and his family back home to Bridgewater as he takes on the role of Senior Assistant Coach for Season 2027.

Jacko is excited to be back and in particular looks forward to working with our young players, helping develop their football and supporting them on their journey.

His experience, leadership and knowledge of the Bridgewater Football Club will be invaluable as we continue our pursuit of the next premiership.

B GRADE — 2026

How good was it to have two senior teams back out there playing for the Raiders!

Having our B Grade back also gave some of our talented U17s the opportunity to step up and experience senior footy throughout the season, playing in both the B’s and A’s — a fantastic sign for the future of our club.

Led by Raiders legend Simon Wise, our B Grade had an amazing season, finishing 5th on the ladder and fighting their way through some tough finals to make it all the way to the Preliminary Final going down by 1 point.

This year we also introduced a special new award — the Eric Ladhams Medal for Senior Player Volunteer of the Year. Named in honour of Eric Ladhams, a true stalwart of the Bridgewater Football Club who gave an enormous amount to the club over many years as a player, coach and, importantly, a volunteer.

This award recognises a senior player who shows that same commitment — someone who goes above and beyond, gives their time behind the scenes and is always willing to help wherever needed.

We’re incredibly proud that the inaugural recipient is Anton Phillips.

An incredible first season back for our senior sides and so much to build on.

A GRADE — 2026 SEASON

What a return to senior footy — and how good was it to be back!

A huge thank you to all the new players who came on board this year, and to our returning Raiders who didn’t hesitate to come back home and pull on the blue and white again.

Led by A Grade Coach Jace Bode, whose connections, experience and hard work helped put together an incredibly talented group of players.

In our first season back in senior football, this team went far beyond expectations, finishing 3rd on the ladder and fighting their way all the way to a Preliminary Final! Absolutely amazing.

U17 Boys | 2026 Season

What an amazing year from this talented group of footballers!

Coached by Adrian Braddock, with Assistant Coach Matt Nadge, the boys finished 4th on the ladder with 6 wins, 7 losses and 1 draw.

They fought their way through the finals and made it all the way to the Preliminary Final, where their season came to an end against Echunga.

But wow, aren’t we proud! An incredible effort and a season this group can hold their heads high about.

We also saw several of our U17 boys step up and make their senior footy debuts this season, with some becoming regular senior players — a huge achievement and a great sign of what’s to come. More on those debuts later! 👏

U14 Boys | 2026 Season

2026 PREMIERS! 🏆

What an incredible season from our Under 14 boys!

Led by Coach Justin Summerill and Assistant Coach Paul Roberts, the boys finished 2nd on the ladder with an outstanding 12 wins and just 2 losses.

They claimed the Courier Cup against Echunga and then went all the way, defeating Kersbrook in the Grand Final to become the 2026 U14 Premiers! 💙🤍

An unforgettable season and an incredible achievement from this group.

U14 GIRLS | 2026 SEASON

What an amazing season for this fantastic group of girls!

Coached by Matt Pedler, the girls continued to improve, build confidence and come together as a team throughout the year. With 3 wins and 8 losses, they finished 4th on the ladder, earning themselves a spot in the Elimination Final, where their season unfortunately came to an end against Hahndorf.

Plenty to be proud of and an exciting foundation to build on for 2027!

What a fantastic season from our Under 12s!

Coached by Sam Fatchen, the boys put together an impressive year with 10 wins, 3 losses and 2 draws, earning their place in the 2026 Division 1 Grand Final, where they finished runners-up to Mt Barker.
