I’m writing this post with a heavy heart to let everyone know about the passing of Deb Peach. Deb was part of the BVM family for many years, you always knew when she was around as you could always hear her laughing. We send our condolences to Deb’s family. If you knew Deb and want to pay your respects please see the photo attached about her memorial.

Hey guys, I hope everyone came through the cyclone without any damage or flooding! We have had to postpone the finals tonight as the courts are still waterlogged. We are hoping to play on Thursday night, weather permitting, but we will play the last fixture round that should have been played last Thursday. We will then play all the finals next week. Again I know that won’t suit everyone so I apologize for that. Hopefully see you back on Thursday night. 😊

Hey guys, due to the severe weather heading our way we have decided to make the call and cancel games Thursday night. I know you’re all disappointed but we want you all to be safe. Hope everyone comes through the storm without damage and don’t forget to check on family and friends. Be safe out there!! 😊

Sorry I’m a bit slow with this post!!

At the start of October we played in the Club 6’s National tournament being played in Brisbane at Brendale. We had 3 teams representing the club, an Open Ladies, a Ladies Masters and Men’s Grand Masters. I’m pleased to say we had some great results! The Men’s Grand Masters winning the division, the Open Ladies being Runners Up and the Ladies Masters finishing 4th in their division. A great weekend playing volleyball. 😊

What a great weekend!! State Titles 2024 are done for another year and we had some great results. An awesome effort from all 5 of our teams playing for BVM with a special mention to our Ladies Master who took the Gold and our Open Ladies who too Silver in a very close game. Looking forward to the National Titles in a few weeks time. Also thanks to the Rebound Volleyball Queensland - ver.2 for organizing another great event. 😊

With State Titles and Nationals approaching fast we are going to order some new jerseys. There is a choice of singlet or polo or you could get both. We’re on a very short timeframe to get them into production so if you want one please let me know by 5pm Monday 19th August. I’ll need to know size, nickname, jersey number and quantity wanted. Thanks 😊
