What a great weekend of Co****le at the Queensland Championships hosted by the one and only Keegan Bee and Rampage Co****le. The quality and sportsmanship was next level and we saw some very close and entertaining games. Saturday was Singles which saw Briswest's Garry Hatton and our own Roly Rolston battle out the Tier 1 final with Garry taking the honours.
Tier 2 finals were fought out and won by Moreton bays Claire Rolston over Wade Ottley all the way from Ballina.
This all lead to a top 8 ranked player shootout to find out who's the best of the best in Queensland. The top 3 were
1st Garry Hatton
2nd Roly Rolston
3rd James Gooley
Sunday saw us playing Doubles followed by Blind doubles.
Co****les Power couple Roly and Claire Rolston won their way to the King seat and Battled against Mark Daly and Kirraly Hendy for the finals. Mark and Kirraly dug deep and took out game one but couldn't maintain the pressure with the Rolstons snatching the win and the chocolates in game 2.
Blinds kicked off and the finals came down to Garry Hatton and Warwicks Paul Fitch vs Mark Daly and Kirraly Hendy. It was a solid win for the boys with both Garry and Paul throwing absolute fire.
