This Tirrannaville project brings together a full-size tennis court, synthetic putting green and dedicated helipad in one seriously impressive setup.

The project included:

✔ Rebound Ace Synpave in Moss Green & Grass Green
✔ 3m black court fencing
✔ Premium tennis net and posts
✔ 64m² synthetic putting green with two golf cups
✔ 64m² reinforced concrete helipad

The transformation at Wallamba Netball Club, now in motion. 🏀🎾

We recently shared the before and after of this major multi-sport court refurbishment. Now, here’s a closer look at the finished facility through the latest drone footage.

With new courts for netball, tennis, pickleball and basketball, the space has been completely transformed for the local club and community.

And judging by the marks already on the brand-new courts, it looks like the kids couldn’t wait to put them to use!

Another one! 🥉 Proud to Receive 3rd Place at the SAPIA Annual Awards

DSFA is honoured to have been awarded 3rd Place in the Commercial Sports Courts Acrylic >10,000m² category at the SAPIA Annual Awards for our work on the Beaton Park Construction Project at the Wollongong Tennis Complex.

Thank you to SAPIA for recognising the Beaton Park redevelopment and its lasting impact on tennis and pickleball participation in the Wollongong region.

We are also incredibly grateful to Wollongong City Council for entrusting DSFA to deliver this landmark sporting infrastructure project. Together, we transformed an ageing tennis facility into a modern, world-class tennis and pickleball complex.

This complete demolition and rebuild, delivered by DSFA in partnership with Select Civil, included:

✅ 15 brand-new courts:
• 11 cushioned acrylic tennis courts
• 4 texturised synthetic grass courts
✅ Full civil and concrete works
✅ Approx. 1.5km of black Chainwire fencing
✅ Around 30,000 litres of surfacing materials
✅ Approx. 1,900m³ of concrete

The project involved coordinating multiple playing surfaces, maintaining strict quality control and delivering a large-scale facility within a live community precinct, while meeting professional tennis standards.

The result:

✔ Tournament-ready courts and infrastructure
✔ Safer, higher-performing playing surfaces
✔ Increased tennis and pickleball capacity
✔ A modern sporting destination for Wollongong
✔ A venue for major events, competitions and development programs

Most importantly, this award belongs to our incredible DSFA team. Your commitment, expertise and attention to detail made this project possible. The finished facility reflects the pride you bring to every project and showcases DSFA’s capability to deliver large-scale, high-performance sporting precincts.

We’re proud of this achievement and the lasting benefits this project will bring to the Wollongong community.

🏆 Proud Winners at the SAPIA Annual Awards

We are incredibly honoured that DSFA has been awarded 1st Place in the Commercial Sports Court Acrylic Under 10,000m² category at the SAPIA Annual Awards for our work at St Aloysius College, Kirribilli.

A sincere thank you to SAPIA for this recognition and for the important role the association plays in promoting excellence, innovation, and professionalism across our industry. To be acknowledged by our peers is a privilege that we greatly appreciate.

This award recognises the outstanding rooftop sports court project at St Aloysius' College, Milsons Point where a Plexicushion system California Sports SurfacesSports Surfaces was applied incorporating Velocity Blue, Dark Blue and Pacific Blue, complete with handball courts and line marking, all set against the magnificent backdrop of Sydney Harbour.

We are also grateful to St Aloysius College, Kirribilli for entrusting us with the opportunity to deliver such a remarkable facility for their students and community.

Congratulations to everyone involved. This recognition is not only a celebration of a fantastic project but also a testament to the quality, professionalism, and passion that define DSFA every day.

Colour, versatility and plenty of ways to play! 🏀🎾⚽

This multi-sport space at Avenel Park in Canley Vale features approximately 800m² of specialised sports surfacing across multiple areas.

The space brings together basketball, netball, futsal, badminton and tennis, finished in a bold mix of Sunflower, Paradise Blue, Mid Blue and Marigold.

The project also included a dedicated sprint track and custom hitting wall, creating a vibrant and versatile space for the community to get active.

A major transformation for Wallamba Netball Club in Nabiac. 🏀🎾

This multi-sport court refurbishment is creating a completely upgraded space for the local club and community, bringing multiple sports together within one facility.

The project includes:
✔ 2 netball courts
✔ 2 tennis courts
✔ 4 pickleball courts
✔ Half basketball court
✔ 1,272m² of Rebound Ace Synpave surfacing
✔ New 3m black court fencing
✔ New basketball, netball and tennis equipment

Finished in Byron Blue with a Moss Green basketball key, the new layout has been designed to give the space far more versatility for different sports and activities.

Nothing better than hearing from a happy client. 🏓

A huge thank you to Peter for the kind words and for trusting the DSFA team to bring his residential pickleball court to life. We’re always grateful to see our clients enjoying the finished result.

This 180m² court in Wildes Meadow was built with a reinforced concrete slab and finished with California Sports Surfaces CoolTop in Mint Green and Forest Green.

From construction through to surfacing, line marking and the final net installation, the goal was to deliver a quality court on time, on budget and built for years of play.

Thanks again for choosing DSFA, Peter. We hope there are plenty of great games ahead!

St Pauls Grammar is taking shape! 👀 The roof installation is well underway, with the main structure now going up over the new multi-sport court space. 🏀🎾

It’s a major step forward in the transformation, with the scale of the new covered facility really starting to come to life.

There’s still plenty to be done, but it’s exciting to see this stage progressing alongside Greenline. 🔥

Once complete, the upgraded facility will provide students with a dedicated space to play, train, and stay active throughout their school years.

Stay tuned for the next update as this school sports facility continues to take shape.

A look back at one of our community sports projects at Carmichael Park in Bellbird. 🏀🎾🏏

Delivered for Cessnock City Council, this project brought together multiple sporting facilities in one space, including:

✔ 4-bay cricket nets
✔ Practice tennis court and hit-up rebound wall
✔ Multipurpose court for netball, basketball and futsal
✔ New fencing and accessible pathways
✔ Supporting infrastructure including shelters and seating

A great example of how a well-designed sporting facility can bring multiple sports together and create a space for the wider community to enjoy.
