Bracken Ridge Swim Club was represented by a small but determined team of four swimmers at the Brisbane Senior Short Course Championships over the weekend.
This meet was the perfect opportunity to put our racing skills to the test, with a strong focus on dives, turns, and underwater work in the short course pool.
We are incredibly proud to announce that all four swimmers secured Queensland State Short Course qualifying times for the Queensland State Short Course Championships in August! 🎉
This now brings our total number of State Qualifiers to 11 BRSC swimmers — a fantastic achievement for our club. 👏

🏊♂️💙 Somerville Prep Short Course Meet Success! 💙🏊♀️
Team Bracken Ridge competed at the Somerville Prep Short Course Meet over the weekend, and what a fantastic start to the season it was!
Our team of 15 swimmers raced exceptionally well, delivering outstanding performances, achieving numerous personal best times, and showing the hard work and dedication they’ve put into training.
A special congratulations to two of our 11-year-old swimmers, Parker and Eugene, who both achieved their first Short Course State Qualifying Times and have officially joined the Bracken Ridge State Team!
They now join the eight Bracken Ridge swimmers who had already secured their State Championship qualifications, bringing our total number of Short Course State qualifiers to 10 swimmers.
