⛳️BRABHAM BLOKES SUPAGOLF CHAMPIONSHIPS⛳️

On October 26th we hosted our 4th Supagolf championships.

We had 25 entrants - our biggest turn out to date!

‼️ELLENBROOK BOWLS CLUB
COMMUNITY BOWLS COMPETITION‼️

LAWN BOWLS IS BACK!!! We entered two teams last year and it was great fun!!!

🌿 LAWN BOWLS 🌿

Blokes, who's up for a friendly community competion of lawn bowls? No experience is necessary.

Whether you're a seasoned player or a complete beginner, this sport offers a perfect blend of fun and friendly competition. It's not just a game of course, it's a chance to chat, unwind and catch up with members of the group.

Are you interested? Let us know in the comments so we can look at adding more teams or adding to our current teams. Here's the important details:

👥 Each team is up to 4 players - no experience required!

🌭 Delicious sausage sizzle beforehand, plus tasty nibbles after

🍻 Affordable beers from the bar

📅 When: Starting Wednesday 23rd October 6pm, for 8- 10 weeks approximately.

💰 Cost: $5 once off registration fee, and $10 per week ($10 each week includes your entry and a sausage sizzle)

ℹ️ Ideally we have the same teams each week, but players can be substituted if needed. You can wear flat soled shoes without grips, or bare feet or socks.

Please let us know asap so we can have our teams registered!!

Why not come along and attend our annual “Conquer Mental Health” event.

⁉️WHY⁉️

Mental Health is a huge part of the world we live in. It can affect everyone and anyone.

Your mother or father, brothers or sisters, husband or wife, friends, colleagues, your fellow blokes and ofcourse yourself!

Anxiety, Depression, Bi polar, PTSD to name a few.

‼️EDUCATION‼️

If you do not suffer from a mental health disorder…..maybe you have someone in your life that is??

At the Conquer Mental Health event, you won’t only hear some of the journeys that our speakers have been through - but you will learn the symptoms and what to look out for in someone who is possibly going through a difficult time as well as how to help.

As much as our mental health is about our wellbeing both mentally and physically - we are all entitled to be educated and made aware of how we can help ourselves and everyone around us.

You are not required to speak or engage with the speakers - but there will be a question and answer section if you do have any questions or queries.

This event is FREE to attend!!

There will be catering provided and the bar will be open for a beverage or two.

We hope to make this a massive event! It’s the only public event we are doing this year!

👊🏻CONQUER MENTAL HEALTH👊🏻

Brabham Blokes are very pleased for a second year running to host our annual mental health event along side Caversham Crusaders Cricket Club.

With fantastic support from City of Swan, Peet Communities, Creating Communities Australia, Black Dog Institute and Befriend in Swan we are running the event on OCTOBER 5th at DAYTON DISTRICT OPEN SPACE CLUB ROOMS.

With special guest speakers Perth Scorchers Cricketer Jason Behrendorff and NRL Legend Wayne Wigham.

Last Saturday we had a fantastic day at Warwick Superbowl for our annual beers and bowling event!

Last Thursday evening 22 of Brabham’s most athletic and talented footballers attended Ellenbrook United Football Club for a game of social football!

We are looking in to hosting these games on a fortnightly basis!! ⚽️

Brabham Blokes have been quiet for a little while…..it’s winter time…..we are all hiding in our houses with the heating on, three layers of clothes on and a blanket wrapped round us of course!

However, at “BB HQ”, we have been very busy!
