Box Hill has three athletes selected to represent Australia at the world road running championships in Copenhagen next month. Congratulations to Sarah Billings (road mile), Georgia Griffith (5k) and Donve Viljoen (Half-marathon).

Australian record holder, Sarah Billings, ran another great tactical race in the Commonwealth Games 800m final to win a bronze medal behind last years World championship gold and silver medalists. A brilliant run by Sarah!

Another strong showing from Sarah Billings saw her qualify for the final of the 800m at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games. Sarah will contest the final at 5:25am on Saturday morning (Melbourne time).

An Australian record of 1:57.01 to Sarah Billings in the Diamond League 800m in Paris. Congratulations Sarah!

Congratulations to long-time Box Hill member Sarah Billings who has been selected to run in the 800m at the upcoming Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Sarah recently ran a PB of 1:57.61 to rank inside the top 14 in the world.

A fantastic performance by Box Hill's distance runners on Sunday morning at Albert Park 5k to start off the XCR'26 season with a number of individual and team victories.

Donve Viljoen and Stella Radford won gold and silver medals respectively in the women's open race and led the Box Hill women to a team victory (Donve, Stella, Melissa Duncan, Caitlin McQuilken-Bell, Julie F**t). Box Hill teams were also victorious in the women's division 4 (Izzy Cotham, Amelie Alleva and Emelia Eagling-Every), women U18 (Lacey Williams, Isabella Johnstone and Lucy Collins), while Emily Collins won the silver medal in the 45+ age group.

On the men's side, Kalan Luong won the gold medal in the U20s leading the team to victory (Kalan, Robbie Petrie, Will Leslie), while Jae Hao Chan won bronze in the U18s where Box Hill also won the teams event (Jae Hao, Alexander Zabojec and Felix Morgan) and the men's Over 60 team of John Meagher, Andrew Egginton and Peter Stefanos also won their division with John Meagher winning gold.
