Tennis Victoria Pennant update:

Congratulations to our young ladies grade 6 pennant team who finished second on the ladder after a fantastic year. This week they play the 3rd placed team in a semi final.

The Grade 2 ladies team finished the season in 3rd place. On the weekend they convincingly beat the second team. This week they play a big match against the top team. We wish the team all the very best.

The grade 6 men’s pennant team did not qualify for finals.

The grade 19 men’s team qualified for the finals but got bundled out in the first round.

Many thanks to all players on a successful pennant season & we wish our young ladies teams all the very best for this weekends second semi final.

Kids 11/u go free!

Later this month some students from Swinburne will be filming a feature film at our very own club. They are currently on the hunt for a few extras to feature in the film - and any tennis players they can get is a huge asset. Please read the attached and follow the prompts from there.

Court availability will be affected for the stated filming days, between 7am-4pm.

Courts for hire!! There are no tennis competitions this long weekend at Box Hill Tennis Club & therefore all courts are available to hire or book if you are a member. It’s going to be great weather so please come and enjoy a hit of tennis!

The club has acquired new kitchen appliances

Dear Box Hill Tennis Club members,

You are invited to the 2025 BHTC Xmas party!
From 3pm all courts will be available for social play and also some organised games for the kids.

5pm - Award ceremony celebrating this years Club Champions, Club members of the year and Steve Collett award winner.

Dinner will be served from 5:30pm - $10 per adult and $5 per child.

Congratulations to Rachel Pan (junior player) who was recognised as Victoria’s Grade 2 women’s (seniors) Best Player for the 2025 season! Awarded this afternoon at the Tennis Victoria Player Awards night at Kooyong.
