Looking for something fun to do these school holidays? Grab your friends and come along for a morning of cricket, fun and new friendships! 🌟

Never played cricket before? No problem! 🙌 This session is open to all levels and abilities.

Girls will have the chance to:
🏏 Learn how to put on and use protective equipment
🏏 Develop cricket skills through fun-based drills
🏏 Build confidence and make new friends
🏏 Finish the day with an all-girls game!

Date: Sunday 30th August 2026
Time: 10am - 2pm
Venue: Walkerston Cricket Club

Please bring your kitbag, rubber sole shoes, hat, water bottle and lunch.

Please make sure you fill out the nomination form.

U15 rep trials 10am-2pm Walkerston Cricket Grounds. If you are unable to attend you will need to submit an exemption form for consideration. These are available from mackaywhitsundaycricket.com.au

What a test match and what a day! Thank you to Cricket Australia and Queensland Cricket for our on-field experiences yesterday! Bowen Master Blasters got to take the field at lunch time and experienced a taste of test cricket! Members of our cricketing community were also involved in the Flag ceremony/National Anthem. Our Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday, 2nd September 2026 at 6:30pm at the clubhouse . A General Meeting regarding the season ahead will follow.
If you've never been involved with a committee before, the AGM is where all committee positions are declared vacant and elections are held for the new season. We encourage all members to attend the AGM as the nominating and voting of the official roles shapes the season ahead.
If you aren't wishing to take on an official role, you are still more than welcome to attend any and all meetings to take part in the discussions and have your say.
If you'd like to nominate yourself or nominate another member (with their permission) you must submit a nomination to [email protected]
We encourage all members to attend and have their say in the future of our club.
Positions include:

* Vice President
* Secretary
* Treasurer
* Senior coordinator
* Junior coordinator
* Junior providore
* Senior providore
* Child Safety Officer
* Social Media Manager
* Grants Officer
All positions will be declared vacant at the meeting. All received nominations will be announced. If there are no nominations received then nominations will be taken from the floor. If more than one person nominates for a role then it will go to a vote.
