Final classes in our week-long training program. Visiting instructors went to Sensei Corey's Byford Kofukan Karate dojo. Sensei Brian taught some kumite drills in junior class, and Sensei Maria took the senior class through Naihanchin Shodan and bunkai.

Photos of classes tonight at Sensei Lindon's Southern Waters Karate Harrisdale dojo.
In junior class, we focussed on elbow techniques, first hitting shields and pads before using elbows for removing grabs in a self defence application, with applications guided by Sensei Brian from Kalgoorlie, Sensei Don from Kwinana and Sensei Maria from Kofukan Sweden. In the seniors class we practiced Pinan Sandan kata led by Sensei Brian with bunkai led by Sensei Maria.
Earlier in the day, a small group of black belts spent a few hours practicing Chinto and Unshu kata.

Today's senior training involved Pinan Bunkai Kumite and Bo.
This evening, the visiting instructors all went to Sensei Don's Karate For Life WA Kwinana Dojo. In junior class we did Pinan Nidan before Sensei Maria from Kofukan Sweden took us through some bunkai.
In senior class, Sensei Brandon led us through Bassai Dai and then we practiced bunkai.
