Emad Zarghami from Australia made his second Irish Open appearance this year, adding to an impressive poker journey that has seen him cash in tournaments all across his home country, from Adelaide to Melbourne and the Gold Coast.
At the Irish Open, Emad has been a regular on the results sheet, with 5 cashes in 2025 and another 4 in 2026, including the moment we caught up with him during the record-breaking JP Masters.
Little did Emad know when he travelled to Dublin this year that the event he has come to love would soon be making its way to his home countryโฆ Now he explains why Australians all should come to Sydney for the Irish Open Sydney!
