‼️ *EDPL Winter Finals - DELAYED 1 WEEK*

Due to ongoing renovations, maintenance and repairs at Pockets Pool Hall in Moorabbin, it has come to our attention that the venue won't be fit for purpose for week 1 of the finals.

Due to OH&S requirements and the duty of care we have to our members, the EDPL Executive Committee has decided for safety reasons to defer the start of the Winter Season Finals for 1 week.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause players and umpires, but due to safety concerns the Exec Committee felt this was the only way to proceed safely for everyone.

Can you please pass this information onto your members to ensure that everyone has this updated information, for players & umpires.

(so, next Tues 8th Sept, will be a week off for all Div 1,2,3,4 teams)

We currently have 44 doubles pairs entered !

Still spots for 4 x more doubles pairs, if anyone interested in playing. EDPL current registered members only, from same club, but can be from different teams/Div, & must've played minimum 50% matches

Will keep entries open til 9am tomorrow morning (Thursday 13/8), to allow 4 more pairs, accepted in order of receipt via EMAIL to EDPL office (NOT on this post). If there's any more than 4 additional pairs, we'll start a waiting list, for any pairs that may withdraw before Sunday) 🙂

WE ARE HEADING TO VICTORIA!

The Australian Eight Ball Federation is thrilled to announce that the dates and venue for the 2027 Junior Nationals are officially locked in! For the first time in a decade, the Junior Nationals are returning to the very state where it all began... VICTORIA!

*A Trip Down Memory Lane*
Way back in 1991, Ben Bolton (U12), Johl Younger (U15), and Chris Lilly (U18) became our inaugural junior national champions.
Since that historic year, this tournament has been the launching pad for some of Australia's greatest cue sports athletes, including World Snooker Champion Neil Robertson, who claimed the Australian Under 12s title back in 1994!
