Lake Cootharaba Sailing Club (LCSC) is excited to be attending the Noosa Council Volunteer Connect Day on Saturday 26 September 2026, from 10.00am–2.00pm at the Noosa Leisure Centre.

The day brings together local community organisations and is a great opportunity to discover the many ways you can get involved, connect with others and volunteer in our community.

Whether you love being on the water or on shore, there are plenty of ways to be part of our friendly sailing community. You don’t need sailing experience — just enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved.

At LCSC, volunteers can help with start, safety and course boats, base duties, training and Learn to Sail, bar duties, events and more.

🏆 We are Queensland’s Best Sailing Club IT’S OFFICIAL! 🏆

We’re incredibly proud to announce that Lake Cootharaba Sailing Club has been recognised as Queensland’s Best Volunteer-Run Sailing Club by Sailing Australia! ⛵️

This is a fantastic achievement and a huge credit to the amazing volunteers who give their time, energy and skills to our club. 🙌

A BIG call-out to everyone who has worked so hard behind the scenes and on the water to make our club the vibrant, welcoming and successful place it is today. This award belongs to all of you! 👏👏

And we’re not stopping here… 🚀

Great first day’s racing for the Spring Series. Hot and sunny with a nice light N-NW breeze saw 24 boats competing,
Great way to celebrate Fathers Day !

More breeze on the Lake today for day 1 of the Allboats Regatta and day 2 of the Sabre Winter Nationals. Russell Witt Photography was back on the water to capture the action.
