INTRODUCING THE NEXT GENERATION 💚💛

For the past few seasons, Troy has been sailing in the bow of the VS 15ft skiff Runaway. As the current President of the VS 15ft Skiff Association, it’s fair to say sailing is a pretty big part of his life!

But this season he’s stepped away from forward-hand duties for a pretty good reason – to introduce daughter Porter to sailing.

The last couple of Saturdays have served up perfect conditions for Porter to learn the ropes, and the father-and-daughter team have now had their first two races together.

And judging by the smiles, we think it’s going pretty well! 😄⛵

This is what club sailing is all about – passing on a love of sailing to the next generation and, hopefully, creating another lifelong sailor along the way.

We have a strong feeling there’ll be plenty more father-and-daughter racing to come! 💚💛⛵

⛵ A GREAT START TO OUR 80TH SAILING SEASON!

It was fantastic to welcome some new faces to Teralba today for our Come & Try Sailing morning!

There were plenty of smiles, some new skills learned and, most importantly, some new sailors getting their first taste of sailing on Lake Macquarie. ⛵😊

A big thank you to our club members who gave their time to help out and share their love of sailing.

We hope everyone who came along enjoyed their time on the water – we'd love to see you back again!
