ONE MORE JUNIOR STATES β€οΈπŸ’›

And finally we celebrate the senior members of our Junior State Team.

For several of these swimmers, this weekend will be particularly special as they compete at one of their final Junior State Championships before progressing into the Age State pathway this summer.

They’ve come a long way from their own first Junior States β€” gaining experience, growing as racers and becoming the older swimmers that our younger team members now get to look up to.

To our Junior State Team: congratulations on qualifying. Be proud, support each other, race with courage and enjoy the weekend.

Thanks to Peta, the coaching team and our parents for preparing the team so well. 27 swimmers, 127 races, plus 14 relays making us one of the largest teams on deck for states πŸ’ͺ

We’ll be cheering loudly. Go South Shore! β€οΈπŸ’›

TEAM SOUTH SHORE β€οΈπŸ’›

The Junior States countdown continues!

Today we’re celebrating more of our Junior State Team β€” swimmers who have continued to grow, learn and challenge themselves throughout the season to earn their place on the blocks this weekend.

For some, Junior States is becoming familiar territory. For others, every championship brings a new event, a new challenge or another opportunity to put their training into practice.

And that’s what these weekends are all about β€” racing, learning, supporting your teammates and gaining experience that you take with you to the next one.

We can’t wait to see this group representing South Shore at HPC this weekend.

Good luck Team South Shore! β€οΈπŸ’›

MEET OUR JUNIOR STATES DEBUTANTS 🌟

This weekend, our Junior State Team heads to the 2026 Western Australian Junior Short Course Championships at Perth HPC.

We’re kicking off our team introductions with some of our youngest swimmers and Junior States debutants, who will be pulling on their South Shore colours and racing at Junior States for the very first time. Nothing like your first big championships 🫢

Qualifying for States is an achievement in itself β€” the result of plenty of early mornings, training sessions, courage and determination along the way.

We’re incredibly proud to see the next generation of Team South Shore taking this exciting next step.

Congratulations and good luck, team! β€οΈπŸ’›

A very big thank you to Coaches Jason and Peta for the countless hours of preparation, guidance and support that go into getting our swimmers ready to compete at this level.

And to our parents, families and volunteers β€” thank you for everything that happens behind the scenes to get our swimmers to training, onto the blocks and through a big championship meet.

Most of all, congratulations to all our swimmers. The PBs and medals are fantastic, but we were equally proud of the sportsmanship, encouragement and team spirit shown throughout the meet.

And now we hand the baton over to our Junior Championship swimmers.

Many of our juniors have been following the results and cheering on their teammates over the past few days. This is where many of you are heading next year. Take some inspiration from what you've seen, trust the work you've done and get ready for your opportunity to race.
