🏆⚽ FINALS CONGRATULATIONS! ⚽🏆

A huge congratulations to our U14 SD4 and U15 SD1 teams on making it to the finals!

Our U15s capped off a fantastic campaign with a brilliant win to claim the title, while our U14s finished as runners-up after an incredibly tense penalty shootout. Both teams showed outstanding skill, determination and team spirit, and should be extremely proud of their achievements.

Congratulations to all the players, coaches, managers, volunteers and families who supported the teams throughout the season. What an amazing effort from everyone involved! ❤️🖤

Well done, teams — you’ve done the club proud!

TALK ABOUT SEEING DOUBLE!
In 2019, there were 21 sets of twins registered at Melville City FC! David Kindness, former club president, was blown away when he discovered this. It brought some great media attention from TV and news papers down to the club's huge Saturday rooball venue at Len Shearer Reserve Booragoon.
This Saturday 26 September, Dave, now plying those rumbling Scottish tones as a radio presenter, is joining club's Girls and Women's Vice President, Penny Tanner Hoath, and women's division one shadow coach and former club junior, Kayla O'Connor, on 107.9fm's the World Football Programme.
One of the 21 twins is back in Perth for the Australian Uni Games running at UWA's McGilvray Sports Park from Monday. Danielle Greaney joins the conversation with Penny, Dave and Kayla on the radio show from 11am.

MUMFC WELCOMES INAUGURAL WOMEN AND GIRLS TECHNICAL DIRECTOR AND HEAD COACH FOR 2027

Following the post NPLW era, Rajan Varatha was appointed Division One Coach for the Murdoch Women at the beginning of 2026.

With an AFC B coaching licence, Raj’s mission was to bring a new group of players together and unite them as leaders in the girls football pathway at MUMFC.

Assisted by C Licence accredited Coach in 2026, Mike Bailey and stepping in to the junior pathway with model coaching sessions, an inaugural Girls Mastery programme at Winthrop, working with senior players like Pearl Ekbote, Anna Tan and Sophie Mumbi as Role Models, the women and girls programme this year started to build a connect from our mini roos through junior girls competitions and senior football that we haven’t seen at MUMFC before.

Strong and experienced junior girls coaches like Paul Carr, Alex Bickford and Matt Dennis will be leading us in the girls section for 2027. The club’s girls pathway is in very good hands going into the October Trials period.

Welcome to Murdoch for 2027 Raj, as our inaugural Women and Girls Technical Director for 2027 and Head Coach! We are privileged to have you on board!

⚽⚽F.T. 0-4. League champions, East Perth FC dominated MUMFC's last match of the Division One season today, handing out a 4 nil defeat to the young side that hadn't conceded more than 2 goals since mid August. East Perth were deservedly presented their Champions banner and medals at Cabrini Park by Football West for taking out the league.
It's the end of a challenging year of rebuilding at MUM in the post NPLW space for the club. With young guns like Steff Irons, Aleya Voon, Giea Putri, Pearl Ekbote and Anna Tan stepping in, there's clearly a talented pathway being connected at MUMFC.
Coaches Raj Varatha and Mike Bailey needed every bit of their B and C coaching qualifications to steer the group through this, laying foundations for more growth in 2027.
Next stop, end of season event and trials. Then bring on 2027! ❤️🖤❤️🖤❤️
