Looking back at how far I’ve come is honestly crazy.
When I started working with Brodie Deuis , I’d already gone from around 170kg down to 107kg on my own, but I still felt pretty stuck. I had lost a lot of weight, but I didn’t really know what I was doing when it came to building muscle, nutrition or taking the next step.
The biggest thing for me was having some actual direction. Instead of guessing what I should eat, how much I should eat or what training I should be doing, I had a plan that was built around me.
I’ve learned so much about nutrition, training and my own body throughout this process. Probably the biggest lesson has been that consistency beats motivation every time.
Having someone there to keep me accountable has made a massive difference too. There have been times where motivation dropped, progress stalled or I just wasn’t feeling it, but having someone to talk to and help me get back on track stopped me from throwing everything away.
And the changes haven’t just been physical. My sleep, discipline and focus have all improved massively. My sleep is better than it’s ever been and I no longer need my CPAP.
I’m proud of how far I’ve come, but I’m even more excited about where I’m going

Introducing Rigs Gym member and client Stacey Olsen .fit_
74kgs Down
When someone has made an achievement worth celebrating, you celebrate it. Stace has been one of the most contributing people the wider Rigs community has seen. Day in day out, he turns up and continues to push the path he has taken himself on striving for continuous improvement. Hear it in his own words;
"My name is Stacy but people call me Stace, 23. My heaviest recorded weight was 166.7kgs and my current weight is 94kg"
"Before late June 2025 - i have never had a PT, coach, nutritionist, dietitian, no weightloss medication - just a pure self determination to not die early and do it myself. I knew i was morbidly obese - i was unhappy with myself and so upset that i let myself go this far, i was in a dark place with food. So i had to do something about it."
" I found Rigs through the one and only Darcy, met the bloke at a supplement shop - walked in one day to buy a cold energy drink. Came out with protein powders , pre-workout. Overtime, i kept going to buy more stuff and i would always see him, he told me about Rigs - and i said maybe, so we set up a day for me to try it. I went in - i knew right then and there, I knew i had to sign up. Now everytime i go in - people come up to me, ask me how i am and how my progress is going - the immense of support and feeling of being part of a community of this calibre is unreal. I wish i knew about Rigs sooner."
Stace is now getting ready to compete in his first ever set of shows in 2026 and we couldn't be more excited to watch this journey progress. When you run into Stace, stop for a chat, your next inspiration is everywhere.
