I think it’s driven by social media, but the fitness industry seems to be driven by short term results. How quick can you lose x weight? How strong can you get in 3 months?
Who really gives a toss?
In the context of the next 10 years, how much do the next 3 months matter? The other 9 years and 9 months are far more important.
How many people do you know that go from diet to diet, workout plan to workout plan, one extreme to the other? One month they’re on keto, the next they’re fasting, or doing 75 hard, or berating themselves if they don’t hit a made up step goal?
Every new ‘thing’ feels like the answer, but if they’d taken some time at the start to properly address their health, their fitness and just got into some decent habits and routines, they wouldn’t need the extremes.
My approach to coaching won’t get you rapid results, cause it’s not what I care about and it’s not healthy.
If you can’t repeat what I’ve taught you for the next 50 years, something is wrong.
And if you want quick progress, I’m probably not your guy.
But if you want to learn why you’ve never kept the progress before, and never go back to the extremes, it might be worth dropping me a message 🫡

I’ve got about 1300 followers on here (legend) and yet I’ve only got 29 online coaching clients. Less than 3%
So there’s a 97% chance you don’t need my help.
The people who need my help will read these slides and think
‘Yeah I would like to get fitter actually, nah I’m not sure what to do, and yeah I’ve tried it before and it didn’t work’
This isn’t a hard sell - just a reminder that if you’re in that 3% and you want to see what coaching is like, just drop me a message
I still have the 2 week money back guarantee in place, cause I want to make it easy to sign up and it feels like the right thing to do.
Drop into my DM’s if you’re curious, and I’ll answer any questions you have 🫡

“I’ve never been impressive at anything physical in my whole life.”
My client Lucy sent me this recently.
In the past 12 months she’s:
- lost 28 kilos
- found her confidence in the gym
- started getting compliments from strangers about her leg press 😂
Don’t get me wrong, the numbers are impressive - but the bit that actually has me buzzing as her coach is how her mindset and approach has changed.
She had previously been a self confessed ‘yoyo dieter’.
Over the past 10-15 years she had lost and regained the same 10 kilos on multiple occasions.
What’s different this time?
1-
We said from the start that we didn’t really care about the weight, it was the habits we cared about. If we got those right, the weight would follow. And it has.
2-
We focused on heavy strength training - Lucy barely misses a session, she tracks her lifts, and she asks for feedback. So she’s building a capable, strong body, not one that’s starved after another fad diet.
3-
And finally, we’ve planned ahead for the difficult periods. She’s had Weddings, hen do’s, friends visiting for weeks on end, periods of proper stress at work with long hours and travel... and she’s planned ahead for it all.
Most people over estimate what can be achieved in a few weeks, but under estimate what can be achieved in 12 months +
Lucy was tired of going round in the same circles, and has properly committed to the process right from the off.
If you’re in a constant battle if your own and you’re ready to make a change, drop me a message. I can help :)
