Three days. Stunning coastline. One unforgettable swim adventure. 🌊
The inaugural Long Swim Weekend: Jervis Bay is done and dusted, and what a weekend it was.
Over three days, this incredible group of swimmers explored one of the most beautiful coastlines in Australia, linking together spectacular point-to-point swims, sharing stories over meals, and experiencing that special moment that happens when people come together around the ocean.
There were calm bays, long gliding stretches of blue water, and plenty of smiles along the way. The kind of swims where you pause, look around, and realise just how lucky you are to be out there.
For many, it wasn’t just about distance. It was about the adventure, the friendships formed, and the rare opportunity to swim through a place like Jervis Bay with the support of a passionate community.
To everyone who joined us, thank you for helping make the very first Long Swim Weekend something truly special.
And if you’re looking at these photos thinking “I wish I was there…”… you’re not alone.
Expressions of Interest for the 2027 Long Swim Weekend are now open. Pop your name down on the OceanFit website and you’ll be among the first to know when bookings open.
📸 We’ll be sharing plenty more photos from the weekend over the coming days.

Sharks have always been part of the ocean. The question is how much space we let them take up in our heads.
We’ve shared a new article on why shark statistics don’t really help ocean swimmers, and why learning your local coastline, conditions, and timing does. It’s about being shark smart, not fearless, and finding your calm in the water again.
Have a read if this has been on your mind lately 🌊 Link in comments.
