Hey guys! 💗 Just doing a quick update so we all know where we’re at for 17 Hours for Sienna!

☕ Coffee man speedy bean cafe — confirmed 5am–11am and he will be donating his profits 🥹

🌭 Sausages — kindly donated by Gwandalan Quality Meats
We’ll run the sausage sizzle for lunch AND dinner

🍞 Bread — donated by Joe from Bakers Delight Watagan park 🙌

✨ 100 light-up sticks — ready to sell for the Light Up the Oval at 7pm

💧 Bottled water — donated by East Coast Beverages

🔊 Speaker — Villi is letting us borrow one for the day

🥤 Canteen — will be open and donating profits

🎨 Face painting — $2 per face, with everything going towards Sienna 💗

I think we are actually starting to pull together a pretty amazing day!! 🥹 CAN YOU FEEL THE LOVE

Really big week ahead and I’m SO grateful for all the sharing and support you guys have already been doing for Sienna. 🥹💗

Now we just need to work out a bit of a walking schedule so we can see where everyone is at and, most importantly 😂, figure out when some of us might actually be able to sneak away for a little break!

It absolutely DOESN’T matter if multiple people choose the same time — the more the merrier! 🙌

We just need a rough idea of what times everyone is planning on walking so we can spot any gaps and make sure someone is out there for the full 17 HOURS.

I’ll pop the 30-minute time slots up — just chuck your name down for whatever times you think you can do. You can absolutely put your name against multiple spots too!

A massive congratulations to our three Raiders teams who took the field in the Semi Finals this weekend! 🏉

🏉 13s Girls — 14-4 loss
🏉 13s Div 2 — 12–16 loss
🏉 15s Div 3 — 8–10 loss

While we didn’t come away with the wins, my goodness, our kids played with HEART. 💙💚

Every one of these teams fought right until the end, with our Under 15s and 13s taking their game all the way to GOLDEN POINT! 😮‍💨 What an incredible effort and what a way to finish their season.

We also ask our Raiders family to please keep Joey and his family in your thoughts as Joey receives care at John Hunter Hospital following a broken back. We’re all behind you, Joey, and sending so much love to you and your family. 💙

To all of our players — be proud of yourselves. Enjoy some well-earned time off, but keep moving, keep building your strength and fitness, and come back ready for an even bigger season next year! 💪🏉

And finally, a HUGE thank you to our coaches, managers, trainers, volunteers and our amazing parents. The hours you give, the early mornings, training sessions, washing jerseys, driving kids around, strapping, organising, encouraging and supporting — it all matters.

💗 IT’S OFFICIAL — 17 HOURS FOR SIENNA IS ON! 💗

Raiders family, we have the GO AHEAD! 🙌

On Saturday 5th September, we’re coming together for one very special girl and her family.

Beautiful Sienna is just 17 years old and has been fighting cancer. Recently, Sienna and her family received the devastating news that her cancer is now incurable.

There are simply no words for what a 17-year-old girl and her family are facing right now.

So while we can’t change what they’re going through, we CAN stand beside them. We can help ease some of the financial pressure, help this family make precious memories together and show Sienna just how many people are behind her. 💗

And because Sienna is 17, we’re going to walk for 17 HOURS.

You don’t have to walk for the entire 17 hours!

Come for an hour, walk a few laps, bring your footy team, family, workplace or group of friends. Our goal is simply to have someone walking for Sienna for every minute of those 17 hours.

Sometimes football becomes so much more than what happens on the field.

Many of our Raiders take the field alongside Hayden, while his dad Steve gives his time as one of our trainers.

This beautiful family has now received news no family should ever have to hear — their precious girl Sienna’s cancer is incurable. 💔

Right now, what matters most is TIME.

Time together. Time to make memories. Time to laugh, love, take photos and simply be a family without the added pressure of finances.

Hey Raiders friends! 💙💚

We are SO excited for our Movie Night this weekend! And we’ll be watching the amazing A Minecraft Movie! ⛏️

And YES… there will be NO CHICKENS in sight! 😂🚫

Can you believe this weekend is our LAST HOME GROUND of the season?!

What a season it has been. We’ve built some beautiful friendships, watched our players grow, shared plenty of laughs and made so many memories along the way. 💙

For some of our teams, the season will continue into finals 🤞🏉, but for everyone, Saturday night is a chance to celebrate the season we’ve had together.

We’re also excited to welcome a special local supporter on the night! 💚💙
A big shoutout to Shamrock Caravan Shop for joining us and bringing their Mini Tucana along!
They’ll be serving hot dogs for $4, and even better — 100% of hot dog proceeds will be donated to a local charity.

And don’t forget to grab a delicious pizza kindly donated by Pizza in Tuggerah 🍕😋 — the perfect movie-night treat while you settle in under the stars!

Make sure you pop over, say hello, grab a hot dog, enjoy some pizza, and check out the Mini Tucana while you’re there!

So once the footy is done, it’s time to sit back, relax and enjoy a movie under the stars with our Raiders family.
