This has taken awhile, so apologies to all.

Fundraising activitiy has dried up and this year, along with the $4,750 profit after costs, which we transferred directly to Berry Street as usual, the 2026 total was $21.979.

This year's Derek Josephs Award goes to Samantha Tibbetts! She'll receive the beautiful trophy and $100 gift voucher.

There is one trophy left to award. Every year the 70km Ultra runner with the best combined finishing position and fundraising position is awarded the Derek Josephs Trophy. Derek co-founded this race and sadly passed away a few years later.

This year the winner will also receive a $100 gift card to spend pretty much anywhere.

Our runners are still fundraising through the rest of this week, but the interim view shows a tight race!

The original BLR70 was won by Emilie Chiller, ahead of Dawn Reynolds and Shimin Li. Congrats on the quality performances!

In the mens race, Jack Neall took the crown for the second year running, chased by quality podium pals Zach Shipman and Andrew White. Good on you, lads!

In the Berry Street Marathon, Martine Botha put on a master class, leading Sarah Hamilton and Alice Dinh on the podium.

For the men, regular BLR podium haunter Stef Taranto took first place, in front of Josh Scoble and Chris Hall.

Big congrats to all of them for great runs!

Only a couple of weeks left until race day!

Over recent days the 70km has been fluctuating between sold out and not sold out - new people sign up, others drop out (or, the unthinkable: DOWNGRADE to the short course!)

A bunch of downgrades just got processed so the 70km is again OPEN FOR BUSINESS!

Join Lambros on August 8th by running 70kms and 2000m+ across beautiful Victorian bush!
