Workers Maddi Heath heading to the World Cup 💚💛🖤❤️
An inspiration and a leader 👊
In 2022, Maddi had a major hip surgery that put her playing career into question. She went to work.
Since then, she's became an Emerald at the 2023 World Cup, won a national championship with NSW, and developed into one of the most consistent bats in the country.
She'll make highlight reel plays in the field, and is the only catcher on the roster with Women's World Cup experience.
Bring on Rockford in a few weeks!

There are not many First Grade teams who can say they have won five premierships in six years, are currently four-peating, or, as a club, have won four Club Championships four years in a row, with every team reaching the finals. That level of success doesn’t happen by chance… it comes from the standards we set from day one of the season, and it all starts at Spring Training.
Our Spring Training kicks off on 4 August, bringing together all Men’s and Women’s programs to set the foundation for another huge year and push towards finals.
This is your opportunity to be part of something bigger — a program built on standards, culture, and winning. If you want to compete, improve, and be pushed every single week, this is where you belong.
We’re looking for players ready to buy in and step up. Whether you’re looking for a new home or an Under 18’s player ready for a high-performance environment, come down and show us what you’ve got.
If you are interested in trialling for our Under 18’s, or joining our Women’s League or State League programs, please email Head Coach Ben McGuire at [email protected] to register your interest.

📸Captured from our 2026 Presentation Night, a great evening celebrating the season, the people and everything we’ve built together.
These photos reflect more than just moments on the night; they capture the pride, the connection, and the effort that went into the year. From players and coaches to families and supporters, it was a chance to come together and recognise the commitment across all grades.
Thank you to everyone who made the night what it was. The achievements on the field are important, but nights like this remind us it’s also about the culture we’re building off it.
Looking forward to what’s next for the group, same standards, same drive and even more to come...

At our Presentation Night, Blacktown Workers Baseball Club proudly celebrated our 7 players who will be heading over to college — 6 this year and 1 next year.
This milestone is a reflection of what our club stands for. We are committed to developing players who want to take their baseball to the next level, providing them with the foundations, support, and environment to chase their dreams.
While losing this many talented players can be challenging for any club, we embrace it as a sign that we are doing our job well. Seeing our players earn these opportunities and continue their journeys at the next level is something we are incredibly proud of.
Our College Athletes
Ethan Bickel – North Central Texas College
Kara Cassidy – Cloud County Community College
Lachlan Robinson – Weatherford College
Mason Malkoun – Iowa Central Community College
Ryan Barnes – York County Community College
Ryley Fletcher – McCook Community College
Will Olsen – Daytona State College
We wish all 7 players the very best as they begin this exciting new chapter and look forward to supporting the next generation of Blacktown Workers players as they work towards achieving their own goals and dreams.

Workers WBL star Mackenzie Jackson is on her way 🇦🇺✈️💚💛🖤❤️
Mackenzie Jackson will make her World Cup debut ⚠️
Jackson makes the squad after working through a shoulder injury that saw her miss most of the 2025-26 season.
She returned to full tilt at the recent Australian Women's Championships and threw 4.0 shutout innings, allowing just two hits and two walks with seven strikeouts in a wonderful effort for New South Wales.
A year prior, she was nearly perfect in a Preliminary Final that sent her team to the Gold Medal Game.
