Our U16 Girls are GRAND FINAL bound after an absolutely incredible season — 98 goals scored, just 4 goals against and a cheeky little record of 12 straight wins… undefeated, hehe 🤭

But now, it all comes down to one final game. 👀🏆

This Friday night, all the hard work, commitment and effort the girls and their coaches have poured into this season comes down to this moment.

So, clear the Friday night plans, throw on the maroon and white and get down to Hawthorn if you can. Let’s fill the sidelines, get LOUD and give the girls the Casey support they deserve! 📣🤍

Our U16 Girls, WPE & Midweek Open have all booked their tickets straight into their respective GRAND FINALS! 🏆🤩

The job isn’t done for everyone just yet! Our Women’s Reserves & WPD are back in action this weekend, fighting for their own spots in the big dance 👀🔥

Sadly, finals also means not everyone gets to make it through. Our U16 Boys & Masters 40+ finals campaigns have come to an end. Nonetheless, both have had remarkable seasons, showing the fight, growth, team-ship and Casey spirit we strive for 🤍

Monday nights have seen some SERIOUS firepower this season! Goals have been flying in, big moments have been delivered and these players have certainly made their mark on the scoreboard 🔥

🎉 GAME MILESTONE 🎉

Family man, club legend and long-time CCHC member Craig Moore is set to play his 300th CCHC game tomorrow night — and what better occasion than a SEMI-FINAL! 🔥🏑

THE EARLY DAYS 🤍
With both parents heavily involved at the club, it was only natural Craig would follow. Making his junior debut in 2000, he went on to play an incredible 169 junior games — 9th highest in CCHC history!

Casey was already Craig’s home away from home, but in 2002 that home moved to Berwick and the beautifully green sand pitch… bringing plenty of scabbed knees and hands from diving efforts at goal 🤣

That same year Craig claimed his first premiership in the U11 Boys Pennant South, before adding another as an U13 in 2005 🏆 His contribution extended beyond the field too, earning the Junior Best Club Person Award in 2009.

THE SENIOR YEARS 🔥
Craig made his senior debut in 2006, and premiership success eventually followed — three times! A flag in 2012 was followed by TWO premierships in 2013 🏆🏆
Across 18 senior seasons, Craig has now scored 82 goals on his journey to game 300.

THE DARK KNIGHT 🦇
More recently, Craig has continued to be a major part of our Men’s unit — captaining the Men’s 1sts to two Grand Finals, becoming a role model for our younger Cannons and stepping into a playing-coach role in 2020.
And apparently age isn’t slowing Batman down either… 2026 has seen a career-best 33 goals across Midweek & Weekend hockey! 🤯🔥

Now the story comes full circle. Craig grew up surrounded by the Casey community, and today he shares those same experiences with his two young girls, who’ll be by his side tomorrow night 🤍

So, what’s changed after all these years? The skill, speed and goal-scoring ability certainly haven’t disappeared…
Really, the only thing that’s changed for Batman is his nickname 🦇🤣
