When SRAM initially released their Maven brakes, a lot of people made mention that the lever pull was very firm and that the brakes had a very on-off feeling.
Fast forward a year or two, and they have released a “Tuning kit” that effectively changes the progressivity of the lever power and lightens the force required to pull the lever. These kits are available for the Ultimate (carbon lever), Silver (machined alloy lever) and Bronze (forged alloy lever).

They feature an ergonomic raised palm pad that puts extra cushioning exactly where your hand rests to drastically reduce fatigue, while inward-angled finger ridges on the underside give your fingertips serious control and promote an aggressive riding position. OneUp also added a core cutout under the thumb so the rubber runs straight to the bar for incredible damping, alongside oversized ramped bar ends with a 38mm outer fl**ge to keep your hands locked in when pushing hard through the corners.
