Such a contrast.
Our usual view, looking out from the clubrooms, and then this is what it looks like when the fog comes in. Needless to say, we chose a coffee instead....

Well done to this morning's crew who got out there ready to take on the fog and cold!! ☁️

We had a great row - just look how calm the water was! πŸ’¦ 😎

🟀🟑βšͺ WHARF TO WOOLSHED LONG ROW 2026 🟀🟑βšͺ

Saturday saw three of our members join in on the Renmark Rowing Club Inc.'s annual Wharf to Woolshed Long Row, travelling from the club wharf in Renmark up to the Woolshed Brewery at Murtho, with two stops at Lindner's Landing and Murtho Forest. It was a fantastic day where we couldn't have asked for much better weather!

Well done to the crew of Sue, Paul and Caitlyn from Berri Rowing Club, along with former member, Lisa, visiting from Mosman Rowing Club in Sydney, and joined by Liz from Corowa Rowing Club, along with Renmark Rowing Club members, Heather and Cathy. Plus, we can't forget the support of young Max as cox from Renmark and supporter Rod from Sydney!

Thanks especially to Paul and other members and supporters who came out to make this happen for another year in getting our boat to Renmark on Friday and back from the Woolshed on Saturday. We couldn't do it without your commitment and support, so thank you! πŸ™πŸš£

After leaving the Berri rowing club many teams crossed Katarapko at the stone weir. Thank goodness Wild & co chose our rowing club as a transfer station or we would not have known about this amazing event.

GETTING OUT IN THE EIGHT

Yesterday saw the 'Des Watts' Eight dusted off and back out on the water! A perfectly calm, sunny day, two visiting rowers from Renmark Rowing Club Inc. and a shared morning tea meant a fantastic morning was had by all.

Thanks to all those who made food to share, came out for a row or coxed for us (thanks Brian!)

Hopefully we see the Eight back on the water again soon! πŸš£β€β™‚οΈ
