Happy birthday to our youngest player at Gerard Cricket Club LeBron Eyles who turns 15 today.
LeBron played his first game for the club two years ago against Barmera Pelicans and has since featured in a number of games.
LeBron also played in his first SA Aboriginal Cricket Carnival last year, and backed it up again this year.
LeBron’s confidence with the bat is growing and we can’t wait to see what this season brings for him.
Have a deadly day with family and hope Dad buys you a new bat like he said he was going to two years ago🏏❤️🤍🖤

2026 Riverland NAIDOC Week Celebrations have kicked off this morning with the BBQ Breakfast, March & Awards Ceremony in Berri today.
Head over to Riverland NAIDOC page for more events throughout the week.
Unfortunately we will not be holding the Abdulla Rankine Shield Cricket Match this year ❤️🤍🖤
The Riverland is celebrating 50 Years of Deadly for NAIDOC Week. 🖤💛❤️💚🤍💙
Crowds turned out for the march in Berri, which was followed by the local NAIDOC awards, which recognised the amazing work of Indigenous and non-Indigenous community members.
Chair of the Riverland NAIDOC committee Daniel Giles said it's great to see the event get bigger and bigger each year.👏
"We always want to get people to try and understand our culture a little bit more, and events like this are a great stepping stone for people to see part of our culture and live it for a day or two," he said.

We wrapped up the 2025/2026 RTCA Season a bit later than usual, today we had it club presentation & BBQ down at the Berri Marina (little bit cold 🥶) but got in before it got too cold.
We added and acknowledged a few other awards this year with the RTCA 20/20 as well as the 2026 SA Aboriginal Carnival.
We celebrated some improvements from last season but looking at the 2025/2026 ladder may not look like it but it’s the small things that matter and we have already tuned our attention to a more successful 2026/2027 season with a few added extra initiatives to both retain and attract players to our club.
