When we meet the world with an over-stretched nervous system, even the mildest of challenges can seem like too much.

Yet when our nervous system is adequately regulated, we can feel resourced with the clarity and capacity to navigate whatever may come our way from a space of presence, perspective and full availability.

While we cannot control the inevitably unpredictable demands of life, we can have greater influence over the lens through which we experience and respond them by cultivating a more supportive relationship with our nervous system.

Homecoming is a deeply nourishing half-day retreat with Emma Palmer designed to gently guide you back to centre with a complete nervous system reset, while resourcing you with a rich understanding and accessible practical toolkit for maintaining greater balance, awareness and regulation as you navigate the landscape of everyday experience.

Thank you to Emma for so masterfully holding space with such loving grace, to Samahita Retreat for so flawlessly hosting us in paradise, and to a truly incredible group of beautiful souls for making every moment such a magical experience.

While the sun loungers sit empty for now, the great news is we’ve already locked in dates for our 2027 return – drop us a message if you’d love to be here with us next year and you’ll be the first to know when bookings go live!

Our new weekly Trauma-Informed Yoga Classes offer a compassionate, choice-led yoga practice grounded in embodied somatics and nervous system awareness.

Drawing on contemporary trauma-informed principles, embodied somatic practices, mindfulness and traditional yogic teachings, these classes are designed to cultivate greater self-awareness, emotional resilience and a deeper sense of ease. Through mindful movement, conscious breathing, grounding practices, meditation and mindful rest, you will be invited to reconnect with yourself through gentle exploration and practices that honour your own pace and capacity.

This gentle, supportive and invitational approach to practice is designed for you to leave each class feeling more grounded, connected and resourced, carrying a greater sense of calm and regulation into your everyday life.

Each class may include gentle movement, grounding practices, prāṇāyāma (breath practices), meditation, restorative postures, journaling, mantra and guided relaxation.

Rather than focusing on flexibility, performance or achieving the perfect posture, you'll be invited to explore movement from the inside out, developing greater awareness of your breath, body and internal experience.

Every element is offered as an invitation, allowing you to choose how and when you participate based on what feels right for you on any given day, while encouraging you to notice, listen and respond to your experience with kindness and trust in your own inner wisdom.

Recognising that every nervous system and every life experience is unique, with trauma and nervous system adaptation forming a common part of the human experience, these classes are not therapy or treatment. Instead, they offer an inclusive and respectful environment where autonomy, curiosity and compassionate self-awareness are encouraged, allowing you to explore movement and stillness in ways that support greater wellbeing and embodied presence.
