Stop trying to train 7 days a week. It’s why you keep quitting.
Here’s the pattern I see constantly with new gym goers:
Monday hits and you’re fired up, you write out this beautiful plan witheEvery single day accounted for. Cardio, weights, mobility, the lot - you’re basically training for the Olympics by Wednesday.
Then life happens.
You miss one session.
Then you miss two.
And now the whole week feels like a write-off, so you just... stop. Not because you’re lazy, because the plan was never built for a real human life.
Look, consistency doesn’t come from ambition, it comes from a plan you can actually keep.
Here’s what actually works:
• Start with 2-3 sessions a week. That’s it.
• Make them non-negotiable, not aspirational, and definitely not “if I have time.” - Locked in.
• Build the habit before you build the volume.
• Add a session only once the first ones feel automatic, not optional.
You’re not weak for starting small, you’re actually training smart. The gym doesn’t care how hard you went in week one. It cares whether you’re still showing up in month six.
Slow and steady beats fast and gone every single time.
The Human Mechanics
We Build Athletes Our business model is simple, take anyone and make them better in whatever capacity they would like. We want you to be able to do both!!
As we see it there's no point in just being 'big' if you can't move properly, what's the point in being able to lift huge numbers without being able to translate that strength into a dynamic movement? Guys or girls it doesn't matter, the common mistake everyone makes is simply training in one way and one way only. We will change that for you, and you'll absolutely LOVE the new strong, healthy and ATHLETIC person we produce at the end.

Yeah, you didn’t hit a new PB today.
But you got out of bed at 6am when every part of you wanted to stay under the covers. You showed up for session number nine when session ten used to feel like the finish line, and now it barely registers.
That’s the win. Nobody sees it and you probably won’t even mention it to anyone.
Here’s the thing about training as an adult with a job and a family and a million reasons not to show up. We’re obsessed with the number on the scale, the extra plate on the bar, the mirror moment. Sure, those matter, but they’re not what keeps you walking through the door in six months.
The small stuff is what keeps you there.
The week you didn’t skip a single session even though work was chaos. The set where your form finally felt right instead of rushed and messy. The morning you chose the gym over another twenty minutes of scrolling in bed. Nobody’s posting that, but that’s the foundation everything else gets built on.
I’ve seen people chase the big transformation, go hard for six weeks, and burn out completely. I’ve also seen people who never had a dramatic before and after, who just kept stacking the boring, unremarkable wins and two years later they’re the ones still training. Still consistent. Still better than they were.
So if you’re in the middle of your own grind right now, feeling like nothing’s really changing... notice the small stuff.
Say it out loud, even just to yourself.
“I showed up when I didn’t want to.”
“That felt easier than last month.”
“I chose the harder thing today.”
It costs you nothing and it’s the difference between someone who quits in March and someone who’s still going in December.
What’s a small win you’ve had lately?
LAST CHANCE!
12 weeks to finally achieve those results you just talk about, or at the very least put a good dent in them if they are a big one!
Or
You can keep doing what you’ve been doing for however long. What’s that saying about doing the same thing and expecting different results again? 🤔🤭

This is what your money gets you when you invest in coaching, and not a gym membership that sits there gathering dust. A system that actively produces a real return on investment that positively impacts every aspect of your life.
4 spots remaining. Applications close TOMORROW.

You know that moment when you’re strolling past your own gym bag for the third day in a row, telling yourself “Monday” again?
Yeah - Let’s talk about that.
Here’s the truth nobody wants to hear: the excuse isn’t the problem, it’s just the cover story. The real problem is you’ve been trying to do this alone, and alone doesn’t work. Not because you don’t try, it’s because nobody builds anything worthwhile solo. Not the athletes you admire, not the business owners you follow, not a single person who’s ever actually changed their body or their life.
They got help, real help, the kind that sees what you can’t see about yourself.
Think about it this way: you wouldn’t rebuild a car engine from a YouTube video if your livelihood depended on that car running - you’d call someone who’s done it a thousand times. So why are you white-knuckling your health, your strength, your body, based on guesswork and intermittent willpower?
Willpower runs out, systems don’t.
Getting out of your own way isn’t about trying harder, it’s about getting honest with yourself. Honest that you’ve been guessing, honest that “I’ll figure it out myself” has had years to work and hasn’t, honest that asking for the right guidance isn’t weakness, it’s the fastest way to results you’ll actually keep.
The people who change are the ones who stop negotiating with their excuses and start working with someone who’s already built the path for them.
That’s it. That’s the whole secret.
Stop waiting to feel ready. Get the right help, and let it do what willpower never could.

I’m not going to soften this.
If you’ve been training for years and you’re not significantly stronger, more athletic, and more physically capable than when you started — the program isn’t working.
Or more accurately: you don’t have one.
You have a collection of sessions, a vibe, things you sort of do most of the time (and sometimes don’t do).
And that produces sort of results, most of the time.
What I’ve seen happen when men finally commit to real, coached programming is honestly one of my favourite things in this job. Because the ceiling they thought they had? It wasn’t a ceiling, it was just the limit of what they could see from where they were standing.
You don’t need to be young, you don’t need to be gifted - you need to stop being your own coach and put your trust in someone who actually is one. #

We want to be honest with you.
This isn’t a dramatic transformation story. She didn’t “get skinny.” She didn’t change her entire life in a month.
Here’s what happened:
She finally had a program built for her hormonal profile. She lifted progressively, not randomly, and she had someone watching, adjusting, and holding her accountable when work got hard and motivation went sideways.
Her strength numbers moved every week. Her energy improved and her relationship with her body shifted from frustration to actual respect for what it could do.
Here’s the part that matters most: for the first time, she didn’t stop. She don’t let the changes in schedule, her social calendar or anything else get in the way of her being consistent.
That’s what coaching does. It makes the work sustainable.
If you’ve been going it alone and watching nothing change — you’re not broken - You just don’t have the right system yet.
Wouldn’t it all be easier, and more effective with the right one?

We’ve been building toward this for a while now, and I want to be really straight with you about what it is.
The Human Mechanics 12 Week Challenge isn’t some quick fix. It isn’t a cookie-cutter program with your name on it, and it isn’t a bunch of workout videos and a meal plan.
It is:
→ A fully coached, individually programmed performance challenge
→ Built around your body, your schedule, your goals
→ Accountability that doesn’t disappear after week 1
→ Led by a coaching team with over 20 years of experience
→ Designed to get you measurably better — and to show you the difference between going it alone and having the right support
That’s what we built.
Applications close in 8 days. Numbers are limited and you don’t want to start September wishing you’d invested in yourself and a program that will actually get you results and help you keep them.

You know that feeling when you leave a session and you’re wrecked? Soaked. Can barely walk. And you think — that was a great session.
And maybe it was.
But here’s what matters more: are you measurably better than you were 4 weeks ago? 8 weeks ago?
If you can’t answer that — the program isn’t working. Not because you’re not working hard enough. Because no one is tracking whether you’re actually improving.
Progress without measurement is just hope.
At Human Mechanics, we measure everything. Because what gets tracked, gets improved.
Everything we do is built around this - Measurable progress and real accountability with a coach who’s watching.
