Looking for something fun these school holidays? Golden City is running a 2-day soccer holiday program on:📅 Tuesday, September 22📅 Wednesday, September 23🕘 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM📍 Shadforth Park, Fenton St, North Bendigo VIC 3550 (meet in the Golden City clubrooms)

Kids can come for one day or both days!

✅ Ages 5–15

✅ All participants must be registered with PlayFootball to take part (if your child has played football this season under the Bendigo Amateur Soccer League, they’re already registered). You will be sent a form to fill out to add your child's information.

✅ A great way to learn new skills and enjoy the game with friends.

💰 $70 for 1 day | $110 for both days (booking fee applies*)

🍎 Lunch is not provided. We’ll have two breaks during the day, so please pack a lunchbox. Best to avoid lollies.

📲 Bookings are essential via Eventbrite.

Wednesday 4:30 until 6:00 - Long Gully oval Cunneen Street, Long Gully Next to the splash park. This venue does not have lights.

Thursday 4:30 until 8:00 - Epson AFL oval 2. Epsom Huntly Recreation Reserve 353 Midland Hwy, Huntly

Unfortunately, there will be no training at Shadforth Park again this week. With multiple games scheduled across both grounds this weekend, preserving the pitch condition, especially given the current surface water, is our priority.

Updates: Coaches will share specific venue, time or session updates via team chats as soon as details are finalised.

Unfortunately... Due to the pitch conditions and need to preserve the grounds for games there's no training this week.
We understand there are some important games coming up leading into finals so we are working on finding an alternative like last week. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Junior presentation day! Sunday, 13th September.
Times:
10 AM to 11 AM - under 6/7/8 MiniRoos
11:30 AM to 12:30 PM - under 9/10 MiniRoos
1:30 PM to 3 PM - under 12 competitive juniors
3:30 PM to 5 PM - under 14/16 competitive juniors

An email will go out to families with more information in the next week or two.

Due to the pitch conditions and the need to preserve the grounds for games on the weekend, all junior training has been cancelled at Shadforth this week.

The club has been able to secure another venue through the council for tonight and tomorrow night. The location is the Long Gully Oval (near the splash park) and is booked from 4pm to 5.30pm only. It will be the coach's decision if they choose to train at this location, and please only go on your usual training night. Please be mindful that there may be a number of teams wanting to use the space, so please be respectful and only use a small section of the oval.
