There’s still time to have your say on the future of disability sport in Australia.

The Australian Sports Commission wants to hear from people across the disability and sport community — whether you participate, coach, volunteer, support, administer or care for someone involved in sport. If you have left sport or even if you've never been involved, your voice still matters.

Understanding all of these experiences is an important part of creating more opportunities for people with disability to access, participate and progress in sport.

👉 Complete the survey by 30 September 2026: https://shorturl.at/jkjMo

Sport has the power to change lives, but for many people with disability, barriers such as access, cost, awareness, attitudes, a lack of skilled workforce, and limited or unclear pathways can still make participation difficult.

A new national survey is helping build a clearer picture of what's working, where the gaps are, and what needs to change.

The insights will help shape a national Disability Sport Action Plan that aims to better connect efforts across the sector and create more opportunities for people with disability to access, participate and progress in sport.

We want to hear from:

• Participants
• Coaches
• Volunteers
• Officials
• Administrators
• Carers
• Service providers

If you've never been involved in sport because of the barriers you've faced, your perspective is just as important.

Complete the survey by Wednesday 30 September and help create a more inclusive sporting system for everyone.

Learn more about the Play Well Strategy and access the survey via the QR code or via the comments.
