NEW ATHLETE INSIGHTS: A JOURNEY BORN FROM PAIN

When you live with chronic pain, distraction isn’t a luxury—it can become a form of survival.

For Precision Shot Pro Brand Ambassador Daniel Michael, pistol shooting became one of the few places where the pain could almost completely disappear.

In the second instalment of his Athlete Insights series, Daniel opens up about the chronic pain behind his introduction to precision shooting, the friend who understood what he needed, and the early lessons that began shaping him as an athlete.

He also reflects on his first competition trophy - an achievement that may have appeared modest from the outside but meant everything to someone rediscovering what he could still pursue, improve and achieve.

As Daniel puts it: “While I am shooting, I can almost completely forget about the pain for the duration of a match.
Magic.”

We’re delighted to officially welcome Australian ISSF pistol athlete Ellie Rudder as Precision Shot Pro’s newest Brand Ambassador.

What began with weekends spent helping her dad at their local pistol club - patching targets and collecting brass - has grown into a journey that has taken Ellie to Junior and Adult World Cups and World Championships as she continues pursuing her goal of representing Australia at the highest level.

In her first Athlete Insights article, From Patching Targets to the World Stage, Ellie shares how she found the sport, the people and experiences that shaped her development, and the ambitions driving the next stage of her journey.
