Have you ever felt like yoga is an impossible series of inaccessible pretzel-like shapes? Or you're a person who thinks you can't meditate because your mind is too busy?
Maybe you're feeling wired, tired or stressed, and no amount of sleep, supplements or self-care is taking the edge off...
Well, the path of yoga certainly won't fix all your problems, sorry folks!
But... you might find through movement and mindfulness that the physical postures of yoga and subtle aspects of meditation are more accessible and soothing than your mind has led you to believe.
Our next Beginner Series starts 5th of October.

At our Winter Solstice Retreat we will be practicing Japa. This is a potent practice where we repeat a mantra 108 times.
Mantra can can translated from Sanskrit as min protective tool, where the vibrations inherent in the mantra have the capacity to transform our fragmented or scattered thoughts and emotions into a more cohesive flow of energy.
By helping to dislodge stagnant energies or maladaptive thought patterns japa mantra helps shift us from ignorance towards the process of liberation and freedom from the bonds of the ego and suffering.ย
This weekend we will explore Maha Mrtyunjaya Mantra. If this piques your curiosity, join us๐๐พ

Yin Yoga
We will hold relaxing poses in a passive way for up to five minutes. These longer holds create softness and flow in the muscles, fascia, and energy meridians, while inviting a meditative state and deeper self-awareness.
Acupuncture
During a restful pose (savasana), four very fine, sterile needles will be gently inserted at points chosen to enhance calm and balance. The needles will be retained for 20โ30 minutes. Acupuncture is known for its calming and regulating effects on the nervous system.
Sound Immersion
A variety of sound healing instruments will be used, including crystal singing bowls, shamanic drumming, koshi chimes, voice, rattles, and soft lullabiesโsupporting deep relaxation and integration.
At the end of the session, tea and a grounding nibble will be offered to help ease the transition back into the rest of your day.
