Autoimmune.

We are both Autoimmune and biannually we check in with the specialist.

After our very first specialist appointment over 4 yrs ago, we took a debrief moment before driving home. Had some breaky, a good chat and then, feeling lighter and more positive we headed home.

This became our 'tradition'. Every 6 months after the appointment, we take the time to grab a bite and decompress, debrief and realign, before we head home.

We can't always change the facts;
Fact is, we have an Autoimmune Disease.
But we can navigate how we choose to handle these facts;
Our Choice - we have chosen to let this strengthen our bond, to go through this together and not let it stop us from anything.
