On Sunday, our coaching team came together for another SETA Professional Development Day.

At SETA, we believe our players deserve coaches who never stop improving. That’s why we regularly invest in professional development, sharing ideas, challenging each other, and continually refining the way we coach.

This session focused on lower body movement and court positioning, followed by plenty of on-court observation, discussion and even a few laughs trying something different with a game of pickleball! 🎾🏓

🏆 Welcome to the SETA Grand Slam UTR Series!

The SETA Grand Slam UTR Series is the ultimate school holiday match-play experience, designed to help players accelerate their development, build confidence under pressure, and improve their UTR in a competitive but supportive environment.

Across six tournament days, players will compete in multiple verified UTR matches against opponents of a similar standard, ensuring competitive, meaningful, and enjoyable match experiences.

With a minimum of four UTR-verified matches per day, players will gain valuable court time, improve their tactical awareness, and develop the competitive skills needed to take their game to the next level.

🏅 Grand Slam Points Race
Every match win earns points towards the overall series leaderboard.

At the conclusion of the six-day series, the player who accumulates the most match wins across all tournament days attended will be crowned the SETA Grand Slam Champion and receive a $100 Visa Gift Card.

Our Coach Supervised Hot Shots Match Play is the perfect next step for Orange Ball and Green Ball players to practice everything they’ve been learning during the week in a real match environment.

Players will learn:
✔️ How to score properly
✔️ Where to stand
✔️ Singles match play
✔️ Serving and returning
✔️ Match positioning and etiquette
✔️ How to build confidence playing real points

This is the ideal way for young players to transition lesson skills into proper tennis matches while having fun, competing for prizes, and learning under coach guidance.
