✨🥂 MONDAY MOTIVATION | BE CHAMPAGNE, BABY! 🥂✨

“You’re not everyone’s cuppa tea… so be Champagne, baby!” 🍾

Someone recently said to me, “You should be getting thousands of likes for what you do.”

And you know what? It got me thinking.🤔

For a moment, I reflected on what we sometimes use to measure our worth. Social media likes. Comments. Validation. Numbers.

But here’s what I realised…

My worth isn’t measured by how many likes I receive. It’s measured by how I show up for my amazing clients every single week. 🥰🙏✨

Since starting Heartland, I’ve touched thousands of hearts. I’ve witnessed countless success stories, helped people build stronger, amazing relationships with their horses, and supported so many in living their best horse life.🎊🐎

And I feel absolutely, incredibly appreciated for the difference I get to make and all the gratitude my loyal clients give me.🥰🙏

Not everyone will connect with what I do.
Not everyone will understand my approach.
Not everyone understands a horses life and can see it from their perspective the way I’m shown by them.
Not everyone will like or engage with my posts.
And thats ok…

Because my heart is always focused on making horses lives better. Helping someone find confidence to create better change. Strengthening the connection between horse and human.💞

And at the end of the day…

That’s what truly matters.💜

Not the likes. Not the numbers.Not the external validation.

But the lives we touch, the hearts we inspire, and the difference we make when we show up with love and purpose.

So if you’ve been measuring your worth by how others respond to you, I hope you remember this:

🐴 THE FIRST SIT MATTERS🙏🥰

These beautiful young boys have been with me for around six months now.
In that time, we haven’t been rushing towards the day I could sit on them.

We’ve been building something much more important first…a relationship.

A relationship built on trust, communication and clear boundaries around safety with humans. They have learned that I will listen to them.

The day before their first sit was actually the first time they had ever experienced a saddle.🥰 (hence why I LOVE the super comfy fur saddles)

So when the day came to sit on them, there was no elaborate setup. No need to hold them in place. No force. No rushing.

Just me, alone with each of them, in just a halter, quietly asking:
“Are you ready?”

And both boys were relaxed.
Both were happy.
Both were comfortable enough to take some steps with me.
It wasn’t about how many steps I could get.
It wasn’t even really about riding.
It was about everything we had built before I ever sat in the saddle.🥰

Because a young horse’s first experience of carrying a human can teach them so much about what humans mean.

For me, the first sit is not the beginning of the education.
It is the continuation of everything that came before it.
Six months of relationship.
Six months of boundaries.
Six months of learning each other.
And then, when the time was right…

I simply became another part of their world.
And that is what I want young horses to learn from their very first experience under saddle:

Being with a human can feel safe.
And carrying a human can become something they willingly choose to do.

Because the goal isn’t simply to get on a horse.

The goal is to create a horse who trusts you enough to let you on and if any of these beautiful boys touches your heart please message me as one will be available for sale and would love to introduce them sooner rather than later to their person.🥰

MONDAY MOTIVATION “Behind every person you meet is a story you know nothing about, a battle you cannot see, and a heart that is simply trying to make its way through this life”

We are all carrying things that other people cannot see.
Some days we feel strong.
Some days we question everything.
Some days we get it right.
Some days we react from our hurt, our fear, our exhaustion or simply from being human.

We don’t always know what someone else is going through.
And sometimes, we don’t even know what we are going through ourselves.

And then there is the reality of farm and horse life. 🐎🌿
It can bring its own pressures. The never-ending jobs.
Animals that rely on us. Unexpected vet bills and emergencies. Fences that need fixing, feed that needs organising, horses that need riding, training and care.

So perhaps this week isn’t about having everything figured out.
Perhaps it’s about giving ourselves — and each other — a little more grace.

Remembering that we can be strong and still struggle.
We can forgive and still learn.
We can fall apart and still put ourselves back together.
We can have a difficult chapter without having a difficult life.

And when life feels heavy, we don’t have to become hard.

We can choose to stay kind.🩵
Stay open.💗
Stay courageous.💛
And keep moving forward.❣️

Because being human is messy, beautiful, complicated and sometimes incredibly painful.
Perhaps being human is a little like Kintsugi. , the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold. We are broken, repaired, changed and reshaped by life. And the places where we have been hurt don’t make us less beautiful — they become part of what makes us who we are.
But there is still so much beauty ahead.

So take a breath.
Give yourself some grace.
You are doing better than you think.

And remember…

You don’t have to have a perfect life to be grateful for the life you’re creating.

🐴 STARTING A YOUNG HORSE ISN’T JUST ABOUT GETTING THEM TO RIDE.

The way a young horse is started can influence their entire relationship with humans, training and being ridden.
And I believe it should be done gradually with clarity, patience, confidence and positivity — never fear, force or excessive pressure.

A young horse is learning so much more than how to carry a rider.

When a young horse is started under too much pressure, we can create problems that may not appear immediately.

A horse can become shut down, anxious, reactive, resistant, explosive — or simply learn to tolerate humans rather than genuinely trust them.

Sometimes what looks like a “naughty” horse years later can actually be a horse carrying the emotional consequences of something they learned very early in their education.

This is why I believe the owner should be involved in the starting process.
Not necessarily doing everything themselves.
But learning alongside their horse.

The owner should understand what the horse is being taught, why it is being taught, how pressure and release are being used, how to recognise tension and confusion, how to support the horse when they are worried, and how to continue the education once the professional goes home.

Because starting a horse isn’t a destination.
It’s the beginning of a conversation.
And if I start your young horse, I don’t just want to give you back a horse that I can ride.

I want to help you understand your horse.

That means lessons along the way.
It means teaching the owner how to communicate with their horse.
It means building confidence in both horse AND human.

Because ultimately, you are the person your horse is going to live with.

And I honestly believe that everyone who owns a horse should have at least some understanding of how a horse is started and educated.
You don’t need to be an expert.
But you should understand the foundations.
Because the first experiences we give a young horse can become the foundations for everything that follows.
The goal isn’t simply a horse that says yes.

The goal is a horse that understands, feels safe, and wants to participate. If you’re interested in learning this stage Pm me🥰🙏

✨ MONDAY MOTIVATION ✨ “Life isn’t measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.”🙌🏼

How many things are sitting on your bucket list waiting for “one day”?

One day I’ll travel there.
One day I’ll take the trip.
One day I’ll have the time.
One day I’ll have the money.
One day…

But what if one day starts with today? 🥰

This year, I finally ticked something off my own bucket list — the Amalfi Coast. Italy🇮🇹

And standing there, looking out over that incredible coastline, I was reminded that life is actually happening right now.💃

The dreams we have.
The places we want to see.
The experiences we want to have.
The people we want to share them with.💞

They don’t have to remain dreams.

Your bucket list isn’t just a list of things you’d like to do someday…

It’s a list of experiences that are calling you to LIVE!

So this Monday, pick one thing from your list.
Maybe it’s a trip.
Maybe it’s learning something new.
Maybe it’s starting the business.
Maybe it’s riding that horse.
Maybe it’s finally saying yes to an adventure that scares you a little.

Then ask yourself:

“What is one thing I can do TODAY to bring that dream closer?”

Because you don’t need to have the whole journey figured out.

You just need to take the first step. ✨

Dream it. Plan it. Work towards it. And then… GO TICK IT OFF. 🥂🌊🇮🇹🐎

Life is too precious to keep waiting for someday.
