Grand Final Wrap Up
2nd Grade: 24-25 Loss
Heartbreak on Saturday with 2s going down by a point to Merrylands, in a game that went down to the very last play
HRC would fly out of the gates racing to a 14-0 lead, Merrylands though were never out of it clawing their way back into the contest to lead 14-17 after the break. HRC would level the scores with a penalty goal, Merrylands would then hit straight back with a try. With 10min to go HRC would score under the posts to lead 24-22 but would give a penalty away straight away to gift Merrylands the lead again
HRC would have a couple of moments late, being held up over the line and a crossbar the only thing stopping HRC snatching the win late
But it wasn't to be, yet again another great season by this group of players lots of who are still very new to Rugby.
Thank you to the big crowd of HRC supporters that came down and supported the lads. Thank you to all players and coaches who were either part of the game Saturday or pulled on the Red and Black throughout the season
Congratulations again to Matteo Pettenon who was awarded the McLean Medal on Saturday.
Presentation Night is on the 4th September so make sure you grab your tickets
Lots of positive things planned for 2027 so jump on board and be apart of it.

2nd Grade: 31-29 Win
2s secured their spot in the Grand Final this weekend after gridning out a 31-29 Win. The boys got in their own way at times inviting their opposition into their half and falling asleep at times. However HRC would use their experience to do enough to close the game out.
1st Grade: 25-27 Loss
Heartbreaking for 1s who led for majority of the game who went down to a Harlequins side that just wouldn't go away and managed to find a late try to secure the win
With 1s season ending we congratulate all the players and coaching staff on a great season which provided many memorable highlights. Keep the squad together and they can produce something special

After finishing as minor premiers only dropping 1 game during the regular season, the boys take on Harlequins who finished in 4th position. 1st Grade
After finishing the regular season in 2nd position take on Harlequins who finished 3rd. Last time the 2 sides met a wet a dreary day at Yat earlier in the season, Quins came away with a 17-0 win, where HRC certainly didn't play well but a Quins side that certainly came to play
