The U21Bs played an amazing semi final against St Pats a fortnight ago, earning their way directly into the Grand Final. They’ll be looking for a repeat performance when they take on St Pats again at Woronora Heights tomorrow afternoon. Good luck boys!

Grand Final Watch:
U16Bs vs Miranda Magpies @2.30pm - Kareela 4

Our U16B are our 3rd and final Grand Final to be played featuring Barden Ridge teams tomorrow. This game is being played at 2.30pm on Kareela Oval - Field 4. This game is another leisurely drive down the Princes Highway from the W14Cs at Loftus Oval to the U16B at Kareela Oval. An outstanding day of spectating if you're a die-hard Barden Ridgebacks FC supporter.

The U16B were this seasons Minor Premiers with a dominating season wrapping up the Minor Premiership with weeks to go. Their job isn't done though, as the boys search for their first Premiership. This team has stuck together through it all, with successful seasons and some not so successful. The club is so proud of this teams resilience and positive attitude to continue to keep fighting each year. It's this mindset that has given them this Grand Final and goes to show that hard work does pay off.

When speaking to the Coach Rod about the team he had this say:
The journey started in the U6s for some of these boys and since then every couple of years the squad has grown into what it is today with new players being welcomed. We have shared wins, losses and plenty of laughs during this journey. It's a testament to them sticking together and becoming not just a great team but a great bunch of mates"

Grand Final Watch:
W14Cs vs Heathcote Waratahs @12.00pm - Loftus Oval

Our mighty W14Cs, this game is the second game in the Saturday Barden Ridge Grand Final Series, just down the road from Game 1, at Loftus Oval with a 12pm kickoff time. This will allow you to easily move down the Princes Highway from Preston Park to Loftus Oval in time for the midday kickoff.

This team we are so proud of. From the core of the team forming in W11Ds with most girls not having played before. They have continued to turn up each week with the best attitude you'll ever see. These girls went from not winning a game in the W11Ds, to W12Ds and not winning a game in the first half of the season - they ended up storming home and sneaking in 4th place also earning the SSFA's most improved for that grade, then to W13Cs where they missed out on 4th place by Goal Difference, to this year (2026) where the girls earnt 2nd Place convincingly and their first Grand Final. We are so proud of all the girls for their efforts this year and all previous years in their path to this Grand Final. The club also does want to show its appreciation to Coach Tom who has coached the core of these girls since W11Ds, he has guided these young ladies football development for 4 years and its volunteers like Tom that we are grateful for 🙏.

When speaking with Super Manager Crissy, she had this to say:
"The W14C team has consistently stepped up their game week-on-week. Each player has improved their skills throughout this season under the guidance of their amazing and dedicated Coach. The girls support and trust each other and this has contributed greatly to the wonderful team spirit."
