PRODIGY FC | FULL-TIME ACADEMY LEAGUE 2027 ⚽️

Prodigy FC will be embarking on its first step into full-time academy league football in 2027.

This opportunity will provide our players with a different level of experience — competing against new opposition, experiencing different football philosophies and being challenged in environments designed to accelerate their development.

Our program has been shaped through our own experiences as professional players, coaches and academy owners. We believe exposing players to this diverse football environment will help educate and prepare them to meet the physical, technical and tactical demands of the modern game.

Our training program will focus on:

⚡ Building stronger, more athletic players
⚽ High-volume individual technical development & football concepts
🧠 Team training, tactical understanding & game play

This is another important step in the evolution of Prodigy FC and the pathway we are creating for ambitious young footballers.

Preparing the next generation of footballers. 🌟

Prodigy FC offers two Little Legends environments, designed to give young players the right level of development, confidence and challenge.

⚡️ ELITE SESSION | WEDNESDAY 5PM
Our higher-level training environment for players ready to be challenged technically and develop alongside other talented young footballers.

This session is trial-based, with places offered to players who are ready for the Elite environment.

💰 $50 per session

⚽️ FUNDAMENTALS | FRIDAY 4PM
Designed for young players looking to build strong football foundations, develop their fundamental skills and gain greater confidence and connection with the game.

It doesn’t feel that long ago that we first connected and started discussing the opportunities that football could create for both your athletic and academic future. After joining our USA Tour last year, it quickly became clear that this was the pathway you wanted to pursue—continuing to chase your football ambitions while building a strong future beyond the game through your education.

Today, we say goodbye to another Prodigy FC player and coach as Arabella embarks on an exciting new chapter in the USA, where she will be based at Madison College.

We couldn’t be prouder of everything you’ve achieved to reach this point. This opportunity is a testament to your hard work, dedication and willingness to back yourself.

We wish you nothing but success as you embrace this experience both on and off the field. Make the most of every moment, continue to grow, and enjoy the journey ahead.

Super proud is an understatement.

I still remember coaching this guy as an eight-year-old at our 5Sports holiday camps. Watching his journey through the JDL system, coaching him in his first SSF season where he bagged six goals against Macarthur Rams, and then seeing him grow—not just as a footballer, but as a young man—has been incredibly rewarding.

I’ve had the privilege of seeing him evolve from a student-athlete, to a family friend, to a Prodigy FC coach, while continuing to develop as a player. One of the moments that really put everything into perspective was in 2026, when I lined up against him in First Grade as Hurstville Zagreb took on Rockdale City Suns. To go from coaching him as a kid to competing against him at senior level is something I’ll never forget.

Now he’s taking another huge step, heading to the United States to pursue both football and a university degree at a prestigious college.

People often see “America” and think only about the football opportunity, but what they don’t see is the courage it takes to leave your family, your friends, and everything you’ve ever known behind to chase a dream. That takes real character.

I have no doubt he’ll make the most of every opportunity. He’ll work relentlessly, represent himself with pride, continue pushing his football to the highest level possible, and at the same time earn a degree that will set him up for life beyond the game. Education and football go hand in hand, and having both opens so many doors for the future.

Mate, thank you for trusting Prodigy FC throughout your journey. Thank you for your friendship, your loyalty, and for giving back by coaching the next generation of players. Your journey is proof that with hard work, commitment, and the right environment, there is a genuine pathway for young footballers.

We’re incredibly proud of you and can’t wait to watch the next chapter unfold.

He’s been a big part of my life for a long time — as family, a mentor, a coach, and a very good friend. Watching him do what he’s doing right now is something special.

Ryan is not only excelling on the pitch, but absolutely dominating in the classroom. Holding a 4.0 GPA — the highest level you can achieve in college — and consistently earning honours recognition is no easy feat.

On the football side, he’s competing in USL2 while also playing college football at Mercyhurst, and stepping up as part of the leadership group within the squad.

Couldn’t be prouder of the way he’s carrying himself and the standards he’s setting.

The future is bright — whether that’s on the football pitch or in the professional world.
