What , wait , don't run 5km to start ?
Not if your baseline is "I've jogged a handful of times in the last month"
Or
"Im not getting any faster"
Maybe that's because each run is a PB attempt in redemption for the last run feeling "off and slow"
‼️ disclaimer at this point , this has been me , the person next to you on the train , the person driving beside you on the motorway and many more .. so ...you get it , it's been all of us! ‼️
To make it so impossible to stop.... let's remove a distance target and have a timed & feel target.
Week 1: 3 x 15 minute jogs easy
Week2: 3x 20 minute jogs easy
.....
This will help the first 4-6 weeks as a new runner really understand your running and start to enjoy it even more.
Take these two principles and "run" with it literally and watch these next 4 weeks become even more impossible to stop ....
