Our 8-week, coached course offers beginner rowers the chance to get a feel for rowing and to learn the basic skills needed to feel confident on the water. Loved the learn to row? Great, we offer a staged, fully supported pathway into club membership, building your competitive or recreational rowing skills.

Did you row in University or in your younger years and are looking to get back on the water? Balmain Rowing Club intermediate rowing program is for you. It's an 8-week reintroduction to rowing built around sculling, the program is paced to build back technique in the boat and fitness on the ergs.

The newly renovated Balmain Rowing Club has reopened it's doors and is available for hire. With stunning water views and intimate setting, you'll not find another venue like this on the Peninsula. Restored to include heritage features it has modern touches too like air conditioning, a full catering kitchen set-up and on a single level for great access.
