Our first day of Spring of 2026 started off with a spring. Our adult dogs sprung into their lesson today with pride.

๐ โ๏ธ SUNDAY TRAINING 23rd August โ๏ธ ๐
Due to the Ballarat rainy weather making our grounds very sloshy and wet, we moved to the other side of the training ground.
Maggie Mae enjoying her one on one training as the only puppy in puppy class with Dean.
Over in the adults we had Ken leading the training, the perfect sits, stays and recalls (except for Bellaโs jail break out) all dogs and their handlers did well this morning.

๐ โ๏ธ Sunday Training 16th August โ๏ธ ๐
Thankfully the cold morning was melted away at the first sunlight as our trainers, handlers and dogs arrived for their training session.
Over in our puppy class we had Vader and Maggie taking their little pawprints further, and we had Nightingale and Ellie being a role model to the younger pups.
In our adult class, Marley, Bella, Hugo, Saria and Betty all excelling in their commands.
Overall it was a successful morning but with Spring around the corner, we hope to have the field thawed out in no time

๐ง๏ธ โ๏ธ Reminder for Sunday Training โ๏ธ๐ง๏ธ
In the past few weeks we have had non stop Ballarat rain to which has made some areas of our training ground a tad muddy. We would like to remind you all to bring gumboots or appropriate footwear for trainings, plus towels for your dogs to wipe their paws and to enstill pre training routines for your dog prior to their lessons.
This could be taking your dog for a walk, pre training techniques, crate time or down time, whichever works for you and your dog.
We look forward to seeing you all at training tomorrow

Due to extreme weather conditions tomorrow, we will be cancelling tomorrowโs training session.
We do encourage everyone to train their German Shepherds in the comfort of their home to maintain their weekly training.

On the coldest and wettest nights in Ballarat, our handlers, trainers and German Shepherds were determined to make it to training.
Maggie Mae enjoyed her one on one time with Dean in Puppy class.
Over in the adult class, Matilda and Saria were prancing like showgirls while Marley and DeDe started their own barking podcast.

Although having a splotchy training ground at the moment, our instructors, handlers and German shepherds were able to make the best of our Wednesday night training under a full moon.
Due to the weather and ground conditions, tomorrowโs training will be cancelled. (12/07)
