2024 Pony Club Australia International Quiz Coach Rachel, and Captain Sharne, were apart of the coaching squad for this weekends Thoroughbred Industry Careers National Pony Racing Series Victorian Jump Start weekend!
Riders completed a two day development program which introduced race riding skills, as well as horse health and fitness sessions. There were lots of certificate learning concepts that came in handy when riders practiced taking their horses vital signs!
After touring the thoroughbred capital of the world, Kentucky, on our 2024 exchange, it was such an honour to be back home playing our small part in engaging the next generation in this global industry 🤩
Selected riders from this weekend will race in the Victorian Qualifiers for the National Series Grand Final

What a pleasure it was to have an education session at EQUITANA Australia dedicated to all things quiz! 🤩
Emceed by super coach Rachael and joined by Captain Sharne, a whole new audience of riders learnt all about the discipline. Oh, and of course Ripples joined the fun!

Ripples is at Equitana!!
Thank you Pony Club Victoria for inviting Ripples to come and visit the stand today! We loved chatting with Dr Andrew McLean, who authored the equitation science components of the Pony Club Australia certificate manuals, knowledge that certainly got put to use in our exchange!
Ripples also met the new PCVIC mascot! Make sure to pop by the PCVIC stand to vote on your favourite name for the new mascot, as well as leave you pin to mark your pony club on the map!
Don’t forget- the PCVIC Quiz Education Session also taking place at 2pm Sunday in the Greg Grant Demonstration Arena! The session promises to be lots of fun and interactive for everyone to take part 🤩

Today is the day!!
The Pony Club Australia Annual Awards will be announced tonight, and we are very excited to announce both our Coach and Captain are nominated 🙌
