Jamie McDonald Confirmed as Coach, Australian Women's Quad
We are delighted to announce that Jamie McDonald has been selected to coach the Women's Quad for the Australian Rowing team.
This outstanding appointment reflects Jamie's proven expertise, dedication to excellence, and exceptional ability to develop elite rowing athletes. His appointment to this prestigious coaching role is a testament to his deep knowledge of the sport and his track record of success in bringing out the very best in his crews.
Jamie's selection to coach at the highest level of Australian rowing is an honour well deserved, and we have every confidence he will continue to elevate the performance and resilience of the Women's Quad as they pursue their competitive goals on the national and international stage.
Jamie's appointment is a reflection of the values that define Wendouree Ballarat Rowing Club—excellence, integrity, community, and a commitment to nurturing talent at all levels. The club's strong foundation of coaching expertise and inclusive culture has long been a catalyst for developing athletes who excel not only on the water but as valued members of our community. Jamie's elevation to the national coaching stage demonstrates the impact our club continues to have in advancing Australian rowing and building leaders who inspire the next generation of rowers.
We congratulate Jamie on this fantastic achievement and wish him every success in this important role.
