Ballarat Jets

All the best to Ballarat Jets Josh Smith and Brayden Mckay that leave today to head to Auckland, New Zealand to compete in the Indoor Cricket New Zealand Club Nationals. Josh will be playing with once again the NimbleHits All-Stars and Brayden will head over with his Club World Series side the Canberra Gators. We'll hopefully be able to share a link of the live streamed games later in the week if available.

We got the job done against Hoppers Crossing in the Preliminary Final who took the challenge till the very end, we were in early trouble after the second pair came out on 46 at the half way mark. A great 3 overs from Tyson Rose, Sam Kuchel and Jarrod Berrigan kept the 3rd pair to 0 till John Platt finished the pair off with a 4/-10 over which left Hoppers Crossing to much to chase getting us over the line.

The Grand Final we were just completely out played by a strong North Geelong Supercats team, with them scoring 114 we knew we had our work cut out for us. Which ultimately turned out to be to much to chase for us, even with the efforts of Tyson Rose, Josh Smith and Cameron Werts all scoring well with the bat. But congratulations to North Geelong Supercats on another R-League championship, they are definitely setting the benchmark of Indoor Cricket on this side of Victoria.

With that being said, we can't thank our players enough for making the effort to travel, families to give up time with one another and thanks to our supporters who are always asking about how were going week in week out. It's a tough gig to commit to travel to games when our closest game is over an hour away every round, but we made it happen!

Final game day of 2026, tonight takes us to NimbleHits Indoor Sports to take on the Hoppers Crossing Hurricanes in the preliminary final at 8pm with the winner going through to the grand final against North Geelong Supercats at 9:30pm.

Unfortunately we couldn't get the job done against the North Geelong Supercats, this sets us up to play a preliminary final against the Hoppers Crossing Hurricanes next Friday night at NimbleHits Indoor Sports.

Two more game days to go, tonight will be a tough one against the North Geelong Supercats winner goes straight through to the grand final.

Home and away season all wrapped up, finals bound! It will be our first qualifying final since the first season of R-League in 2023 🙌

The last 2 games of the home and away season saw us challenged in both games winning a game we probably should of loss and losing a game we probably should of won. In the loss to the Mavericks we still managed to pick up 3 skins which were much needed points, and a win against 2nd placed Hoppers Crossing helped us get 11 points clear. 2nd and 3rd still have 2 games to play next week.

Last two games of the season before finals, hopefully can hold onto a top 2 spot. We would also like to congratulate Uday Pasupuletti on becoming Ballarat Jet #34.
