πŸ₯…βš½πŸ₯…- U12.1 Girls Grand Final: Balgownie v Shellharbour. 1pm on Sunday at Unanderra.

-> Our U12.1 Girls team were started as a new U9 Black all girls team in 2023, and now with three years of great support from Coach Ross Ryan and Manager Peter Bernardi, have developed into being a really strong team and a great demonstration of how the Matildas effect of recent years has helped develop the girls / female program at Balgownie and at all Clubs across the Football South Coast Association in terms of increased participation, more and more talent emerging, and a clear development and high level skill being shown from more and more girls / female Teams.

-> Our U12.1 Girls team is pictured here after winning their Semi Final against Shellharbour 2-0 at Judy Masters 10 days ago, which earned them last weekend off and a spot in this weekend's Grand Final. Shellharbour played and won their Final on the weekend to book their own spot in the Grand Final which means it will be a great rematch of the top 2 teams in the U12.1 Girls Competition this year.

-> Good luck to Balgownie and Shellharbour U12.1 Girls, they are both skillful and strong Teams, and this Grand Final is one to head to Unanderra on Sunday afternoon to watch and enjoy two high quality U12 girls teams in action.

-> Also in the photos is the Team when they were happily surprised to be presented with their Minor Premiers plaque and League Champions medal to help celebrate their Semi Final win.
