Empire Dance Club Lessons 2024
Empire Dance Club is pleased to announce that social dancing classes for 2024 will commence on Tuesday 20th Feb and will be held at Gilkison’s Dance Studio, 45 Murray St, Perth every Tuesday night at 7.00pm.
We are introducing a new format of hour-long lessons with an option to partake in a half hour session prior to the class, focusing on technique and question time.
ENROL NOW… for our Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced/Elite courses, which will continue for 6 weeks. Cost of the course includes free social dancing following the class, for your enjoyment and to practise class routines.
Come at 7.00 – 7.30 if choosing the option for technique*.
7.30 -8.30 for class tuition.
* An introduction to basic movements, holds and footwork of the dances you will be learning.
Beginners Dances
Barn Dance, Slow Rhythm, Waltz, Square Rumba, Cha Cha Cha
Intermediate Dances
Progressive Jive, Waltz, Quickstep, Cuban Rumba, Evening 3 Step
Elite Dance
Cuban Rumba
Old and new dancers to Empire Dance Club are also invited to join us for the social dancing for a small fee. This will commence at 8.30pm each Tuesday night.

After 10 fantastic years at our Balcatta Studio, our lease is up on the 31st of August. We are looking for a new space to continue our private & group classes, which will recommence this year.
We would like to take a moment to thank all of you, for your support over the last 10 years - and going forward. We cannot wait to see you all at our new venue, stay tuned tor updates. Geoff & the EDC Team!
