Here at Nick Kidd Badminton Academy we give you a structured program. Our NKBA Coaches are former State, National and International players with backgrounds in Sports Science, along with certifications from Badminton Australia and Badminton World Federation.

We invite children as early as 5 yrs old to join our “Little Smashers” Program. Which is an introduction to badminton for beginners, children 5 – 10yrs. Here they learn about badminton in a fun and active environment, aiming to give them a solid foundation in badminton skills.

Hello NKB Academy Family. Our 🌸Spring Holiday camp🌸 is fast approaching, and we would love to see our NKBA students there to practice and refine their skills taught during the term training.

📅 Date: Monday 27th September – Friday 8th October (Weekdays only)

Morning Session: 10am – 12:30pm
Afternoon Session: 2.30pm – 5pm

📣 FULL Day (Morning + Afternoon session): $65

If you attend a full day, you will be required to provide your own lunch. Please note there is a break between the 2 sessions (12.30pm – 2.30pm). In this time children (under 18 yrs) are not permitted outside of the arena, unless an arrangement or permission is given by a parent/guardian (please notify NKBA). At least one coach will be present in the arena for enrolled full day students. We encourage students to prepare their lunches as coaches are not responsible to buy lunches for students. Any alternate arrangements will be a private agreement between parent and coach, and any incidents will NOT be the responsibility of NKBA.

📣 HALF Day (Morning / Afternoon session): $35

If you attend a half day, we kindly ask that you arrive closer to your session time, and leave soon after your session time. Please do not leave your child unattended in the arena for a prolonged time. NKBA will NOT be responsible for kids before and after sessions.

NOTE:

-Our NKBA Holiday Camp is primarily created for our NKB Academy Students.
-Please note each session is capped and once full capacity is reached we will not accept anymore students.

Dear NKBA customers,

Following the recent Covid-19 update from the State government, Nick Kidd Badminton Arena will remain closed until 12:01 am Tuesday 6 July.

Only private training with our NKBA coaches will be permitted in this time, as approved by City of Stirling. Please confirm your training with NKBA coaches, before showing up at the Arena. Masks must be worn.

Following that, transitional restrictions will be in place from 12.01am Tuesday 6 July - 12.01am Monday 12 July:
- Masks must be worn in the Arena
- 150 person limit

Nick Kidd badminton Arena will re-open 12.01am Tuesday 6 July, adhering to restrictions until 12.01am Monday 12 July. In this time frame we will continue to run as per usual, including NKBA social nights, NKBA Holiday camp and long term court bookings/ paid bookings. The badminton store will be in open.

Casual and ‘walk in’ court bookings will be restricted. Please call the arena to confirm an availability.

All Academy group training between Tuesday 29 July - Monday 5 July will be cancelled and refunded.

All long term court bookings between Tuesday 29 July - Monday 5 July will have a credit applied to your booking and you will be able to organise your credit with staff in-store.
