Jan Pianta School of Dance is considered one of the best in Victoria. We genuinely cater for the ‘thinking’ dancer to ‘bring out the best’ in your child – as has been quoted by many a satisfied parent over the years. All children love to dance, it is innate and natural so ‘the love of dance’ is not in question! What is done with the ‘love’ is! That is why we do it the best! So how do we do it better and differ from the other dance schools! Well, we develop the child through the understanding that solid technical training is vital from an early age. Effort and discipline from the student is also vital. The students can discover this theory through the many dance styles that are on offer – each progressive through various comprehensive syllabi. Our students do ‘enjoy’ working when they understand the theory! The principles we stand on have been achieved and worked and they are still being achieved and worked. All teachers are very professional, supportive and meet the needs of all students to stimulate their unique character and individual growth.

A massive thank you and congratulations go to Charli, Indi, Ella, Olivia and Heidi for their outstanding efforts in performing and entertaining the audiences at the recent La Trobe Valley Eisteddfod over the past 10 days.

Thank you to our amazing creative and talented teachers Jan and Shaun, and to parents Pip, Marlene, Tammy and extended families for the huge commitment in supporting our dancers.

A small number but their efforts and results were mammoth. To finish, Ella received a summer school gift voucher to the value of $300 to attend Mikki Lipson coaching school and Olivia received Most Promising Junior Theatrical.

Bravo to everyone! 👏

Ella did SO well! She absolutely popped in this performance and handled every moment with such confidence.

A particularly tough section, made even more challenging with a broken shoe strap, but Ella danced straight through it and handled it so cleverly!

3rd place out of 9 in the 10 Years & Under 12 Open National Solos at La Trobe Vallet Eisteddfod.

,Excellent effortElla!
