We’re proud to be a sponsor and partner of the Avalon Public School Fete as they celebrate 75 years of Avalon Public School.

It’s shaping up to be a brilliant day of good old-fashioned fete fun, so bring the family, round up your friends and come along for the celebrations.

📅 Sunday, 20th September
⏰ 10:00am - 3:00pm
📍 Avalon Public School grounds + the grass netball courts opposite

There’s plenty happening on the day, including live music from The Baker Boys Band, laser tag, a kindifarm petting zoo, face painting, artisan market stalls, food trucks, BBQs, coffee carts, crafting, a photo booth, games alley, haunted classroom, The Hospital (IYKYK), soccer darts, jumping castles, a local fire truck, tombolas, a white elephant stall, silent disco, chocolate wheel, 360 video booth and silent auction.

And if that’s not enough, there’s more classic fete fun to be had!

While entry is free, you’ll need passes for activities:

🎟️ APS Token Cards - for games, food, activities and market stalls

WINNERS !! 🏆

Huge Congratulations to our W16/2’s who won their Grand Final today in a nail biting 4-3 penalty shootout against Seaforth. Brilliant result!

To our incredible W15/3’s who came runners up against Brookvale in a super tight 1-0 match. So incredibly close - you should be so proud girls!

Our W/13/2’s were also recognised today by the MWFA for taking out league champs, even though they got knocked out in a penalty shoot-out by Curl Curl in last week’s semi. Awesome achievement!

A nail-biting finish for our U12s, taking out the final 1-0 against CC Strikers in the final minutes of the match!

The winning goal came from James Smith, sealing a brilliant result for the whole squad.

That’s a wrap on Season 2026! ⚽️

Last games for our juniors are this weekend - we hope they are fantastic!

What a season it’s been. For the majority of our players, that’s the final whistle blown on 2026 - and what an incredible year of football it’s been.

From the very first training session back in pre-season to the last matches just gone, this club has been buzzing with energy every single week. New friendships formed, skills sharpened, and so many proud moments on the sideline. Win, lose or draw, our players showed up with heart every time, and that’s what Avalon is all about.

To every player, parent, coach, manager and volunteer who made this season what it was - thank you. This club runs on your energy and commitment, and it does not go unnoticed.

Peninsula Cricket Club want YOU on the pitch!

Whether they’re 5 or 15, there’s a spot for them - Cricket Blast, Junior Competition or the Girls Program. All fitness levels welcome, no experience needed, and where possible they can even play alongside their mates.

If your kid’s ever fancied a summer of skills, fun and new friendships, now’s the time. Rego is open, full kits are provided for the younger stages, so there’s nothing to buy to get started.
