𝗦𝗘𝗠𝗜 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟𝗦 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗗𝗢𝗪𝗡!

As we continue our countdown to the Semi Finals this weekend, here’s an important reminder for 𝗔𝗟𝗟 players before you arrive at the courts.

✂️ Cut your nails
💍 Remove ALL jewellery
👂 Earrings MUST be removed. They cannot be taped

Umpires will be checking all players before the game. If you are wearing jewellery or earrings, you will be asked to remove them and will not be permitted to take the court until this has been done.

Please don’t leave it until game time! Get organised before you arrive so your team is ready to take the court when that first whistle blows.

Nails short. Jewellery off. Earrings out. Ready to play!

💙 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟𝗦 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘. 𝗕𝗨𝗧 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧, 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨!

As we head into the Finals Series this weekend, it’s important that we take a moment to recognise and thank the amazing volunteers who make community netball possible.

Community sport simply cannot function without the small army of people who give their time, week after week, to get our players out on court.

From our coaches, managers and umpires, to committee members, executive members, scorers, mentors and the many people working quietly behind the scenes, every role matters.

Many arrive before the first whistle and are still there long after the last game has finished. They give up their Saturdays, evenings and family time, not for recognition, but because they care about our players, our clubs and our netball community.

As the excitement and intensity of finals begins, please remember that so many of the people helping make these games happen are volunteers.

A smile, a thank you, a little patience and respect can go a very long way.

So, before the first centre pass this weekend, we simply want to say:

𝙏𝙃𝘼𝙉𝙆 𝙔𝙊𝙐 to every volunteer who has helped make another season of netball possible.

There is no community sport without you. 💙

PPNC would like to say a big thank you to all of our teams that have played their last game on Saturday. It has been fantastic to watch each team show how much they love the game of Netball. From the Nettas all the way to the Seniors- we have some fantastic players who showed amazing pink spirit throughout the season. Well done to everyone! 💕💙💕

Our washed out NetSetGo game has been rescheduled for Saturday 29 August. The fixture has now been updated in PlayHQ.

This will be our final NetSetGo game for 2026!

We hope all our littlest netballers are having a fantastic time at netty and enjoying these last few weeks of the season!

𝙒𝙚’𝙧𝙚 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙝 𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚! 🤗

This Saturday will be the last game of the winter competition for some of our teams. While it’s always a little sad to see another
season come to an end, take a moment to look back on everything the season has given you.

Think about your own personal growth, the skills you’ve developed, the friendships you’ve made and, most importantly, the fun you’ve had along the way.

For our teams competing for those top four spots, there’s still plenty on the line! Play hard, play fair and enjoy every minute.

As we head into an important weekend, let’s remember what makes our game great:
🏐 Respect the decisions made by our umpires.
🏐 Listen to your coach.
🏐 Support your teammates.
🏐 Thank our volunteers.
🏐 Supporters – cheer positively and encourage both teams.
🏐 Remember that players, coaches and umpires are all doing their best.

A few positive words from the sideline can make someone’s day. A negative comment can have the opposite effect. Let’s make sure everyone walks away wanting to come back next season.

Whether your season finishes this Saturday or continues into the Finals Series, be proud of how far you’ve come and finish the season showing the very best of our netball community.

PPNC would like to say a big congratulations to Elodie from the 15A’s for being awarded her C badge umpiring accreditation on the Div 3 game on Saturday. We are so thrilled for Elodie as this is massive achievement! 💕👏🏾
